Todays cars have become so Eurocentric. Once you have have ridden in a big, soft riding American car, you feel like you've gone to heaven. Great long distance highway cars. And so quiet.

Ya, a great story and great music. It also brought home how much cars like the Cadillac of that era had so much soul and cars of today, are so souless.

I've always associated the Hurst thing with Oldsmobile. I don't think I've ever seen one of these. Amazing how the a padded landau roof was somehow considered sporty at the time.
