Don't ask me how, but I wound up etching a few small scratches on the top of my desk, which is made of glass.

Anyone know what I can use to buff the scratches out?

Hmm, I dunno what you could use. Some sort of apoxy compound buffed into the scratches might take them out. I know you can use a buffer to take scratches out of a CD, but I've not heard of doing so on glass.

Oh... somewhat related... :P How do I make my headlights look all pretty? As in fix how they're somewhat pitted in places and have scratches here and there. Doesnt really effect their functionability, but I want them to look pretty, ya know? :D

BV, I'm sure you could do it with a buff ball on a drill and some polishing compound. I'm not sure how to do glass though. You might be able to wetsand it out and use a really high speed buffer and some glass-specific compound, if there is such a thing.

Thanks all, for your replies. Actually, I remember reading about a mildly abrasive 3M product, that removes scratches from glass...we'll see what the local Pep Boys has tomorrow...

Or you could make one big scratch somewhere eles and then you wont think about the smaller scratches.

I'm in a glass case of emotion!
