This was pretty funny.

I was registering for this message board (and no, it wasn't a car board) and underneath the part where one puts the username they want to use, was the following list of rules:

-letters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9), spaces and periods (.) only
-don't use periods as a replacement for spaces or for decoration
-limit of 15 characters
-no all-caps (e.g. USERNAME)
-no crazy-caps (e.g. UseRnAMe)
-no annoying decorative text names (e.g. xX Princess Xx)
-no cellphone/SMS/Prince language (e.g. Me N U BB2Day and BB4EVA)
-no annoying 'fanboy' names (e.g. SpikeLover, WestWingFan, etc.)
-no names that may be confused for staff names or official accounts (e.g. TWoPguy, Glarkk, etc.)

I put it in the lounge because I was joking around, but it's just as well... But yeah, I could see the point of going there with those rules on a TV board because of the corny types of people it could attract to post there.

Yeah, because I can talk about...television without pity!! On the serious side, I needed a place to talk certain shows that either others at the current boards don't follow or that are too "guilty pleasure" to publicly admit I watch (TV and music are different in that respect, because ideas about a person form a lot quicker with TV...probably why a lot of people like to say they don't watch TV, so that they're not judged)
