Following closely on the heels of the 2011 Infiniti Performance Line G Coupe, Nissan’t luxury division has taken the wraps off its new Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) G Convertible Concept.

The IPL G Convertible Concept features unique aerodynamic styling, an IPL-tuned V6 engine, a sports exhaust system, a revised suspension and 19-inch IPL wheels. Although no performance figures were give, the IPL G Coupe boasts 348 horsepower, indicating a similar rating for the convertible.

“The Infiniti Performance Line is designed to push the premium performance envelope for buyers seeking a higher level of exclusivity and driving exhilaration,” said Infiniti Vice President Ben Poore. “IPL promises unique driving attributes from other Infiniti models, without adding stratospheric prices.”

Don’t be fooled by the car’s concept tag as there is no doubt the IPL G Convertible will eventually arrive at Infiniti dealerships. The IPL G Convertible Concept will make its world debut at next week’s Paris Motor Show.
