What happens to Delphi if they dont strike?

Featured Replies

well... i was thinking about it after i saw an article saying ford was preparing for a strike... so that means many of their suppliers have stockpiles...

and if the scare goes away... and an agreement is made between delphi and the union... will GM slow its orders, causing delphi to idle?

how long is GM prepared to let delphi strike?

that is obviously the same time period delphi will be basically idled...

how much will that cost delphi?

GM is supposedly doing everything they can to keep Delphi from striking.

Either way, it'll be a tough Summer for Delphi because it's been reported that most of their other customers have also been building inventories of parts in case of a strike. Chapter 11 should help them through though?

but suggesting all the manufactures accually have a plenty of parts... that means no body needs anything... and probably GM has the largest stock pile... probably lasting at least 4-6 weeks... that would essencially idle delphi... whether they strike or not...
