Acura unveiled the 2019 RDX Prototype at the 2018 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, previewing a ground-up redesign of its best-selling luxury SUV. The prototype showcased a bold new exterior with a Diamond Pentagon grille, Jewel Eye LED headlights, and a wider, more athletic stance compared to the outgoing model. Inside, Acura introduced an all-new cabin highlighted by a 10.2-inch infotainment display, a new True Touchpad Interface, a digital instrument cluster, and available head-up display — a dramatic step up in technology and materials quality. The production 2019 RDX launched with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and available Super Handling All-Wheel Drive.
