Welcome Marcs to Cheers and Gears. Yes, the pandemic has been a crazy busy time for all to survive. I agree, nice to just take some time off and chill with what ever one feels like.

And there is the FAILURE of Mazda, they call it a Premium CUV and that Mazda is about Luxury, not Toyota, Chevrolet or Honda level. This is a failure of Mazda to have a cheap interior with a premium label on it. Deceptive IMHO.

E- Muscle is the future and plenty of people will take it when it comes. I see no reason for these name plates to die in the future unless Dodge decides to NOT build E-Muscle and stick with V8s that most people will not be able to afford. AWD Electric Burn outs

Big difference to me that I visually see as the Rivian at least truly say it is a mid to upper level trim, the Mazda says I have a cheap interior of plastic and give you this big piece of plastic dash.

As one that like CUV/SUV/Trucks, this is a big MEH to me and the interior is way to blah minimalist for me, some will like it though I am sure. Mazda like Toyota has a design style that does nothing for me and for sure does not make me want to own one.

Hey CCAP, our recipe is not written down, it is in my wifes head. She tells me what to get and I get everything and then just play the good Suo chef. Ours is so large, the amount of cans of water chestnuts to the 5 lbs of Tofu that I would have to spend some time thinking on how to reduce it down to a small amount recipe, but can do it during the holidays once I have my work done. Here are two very good authentic Korean Mandu recipes that you can use as a guide. Korean Dumpling (Mandu) Recipe (thespruceeats.com) Mandu (Korean Dumplings) - Korean Bapsang Use one of the above recipes and you can copy my ingredients I list above to get close to from the mother land Mandu mixture.

Supposedly we will see in January at the 2022 CES show the Chevrolet and GMC EV Trucks to battle with Ford. GM has stated they will be very competitive in the prices. Hopefully a decent FRUNK like Ford has and equal spec's.

Sad that they never really gave the V90 a chance for a station wagon to do well, you have to have it on the lots, not special order only. I think it could have done very well if properly marketed.

Even with a sewer line problem and also had to have the hot water tank replaced, we still had our annual Pot Sticker making party at the Felt House hold. We made a bit over 600 pot stickers and other than the meat, Tofu and vermicelli noodles, everything else in them was from the garden. Plenty of prep work as the wife and I spent Friday night and Saturday prepping everything and then Saturday night making the filling for the pot stickers. Most people are not aware that water is death to a pot sticker and as such, you have to squeeze as much water out of the ingredients as possible. So Tofu was in a vice for 24hrs being squeezed dry, water chestnuts were squeezed, Monge bean sprouts were squeezed. Next came the cutting up of Spanish Sugar Sweet Onions, green onions, fresh garlic, cooking of the vermicelli noodles and then cutting them up, seasoning everything to proper taste before mixing in a 50/50 mixture of ground sausage and beef and adding some eggs. You start by breaking up the tofu and then in goes the cut up noodles and the rest of the veggie ingredients and then season to taste. Then you have a finished veggie mixture that allows for veggie only Pot stickers if you like. This is a carnivore household so in goes the meat into containers to keep it chilled only taking out a small amount as the pot sticker making process goes. Then you have the assembly of the pot stickers and finished uncooked pot stickers. From here you steam them for 15 min, cool and start to freeze them on cookie cooling racks in the freezer so they stay individual in the bag for use across the holiday season. End result is gallon freezer bags of yummy pot stickers to be pan fried, put into Ramen and many other wonderful soups / dishes. Bon apatite Yes we do take breaks while they are being steamed to enjoy some fresh hot out of the pot, pot stickers with home made sauce on them.

Status on the Felt Household. My 62 year old sewer line finally failed and so had to have them replace a section of the line and then 52 feet of liner from the cleanout in the garage to where it connects to the cities 6" line. Then the liner went in: Then the repair section was installed. Now awaiting inspection this Wednesday between 9-11am and they will then fill it up. You can see my bigger natural gas line and the water line.

Thanks, yes Triglycerides are at 99 so good there too. The daily gym working out and cooking with the wife from our garden helps greatly in our quality of life. Will post about our family annual pot sticker making party. We love to eat here and plenty of good food, but we also love to be active in outdoors life from hiking, skiing, mountain biking, etc. being physically active while eating yummy food is a way of life here. Totally agree some great BBQ in Texas, just missing the physical fitness from what I observed living there for a year.

Today GM announced their excitement to have President Biden attend the Grand Opening of Factory Zero Wednesday November 17th 2021. In the heart of Detroit and Hamtramck Michigan, GM's first all-electric assembly plant, the culmination of GM's multibillion-dollar U.S. investment in people, products and modernized processes. These electric trucks, SUVs and autonomous vehicles built at Factory ZERO will transform GM and the auto industry as the move is on to emission free auto's. GM has looked for ways to move forward using their existing assembly plants and retraining their workforce and with that the local people of Hamtramck, Michigan has seen this modern evolution from a century old company. Officially the start of full production with the Hummer Truck by GMC will happen on November 17th 2021, but there has been plenty of mule production runs to work out the assembly kinks. ? Doing the happy dance as I got my blood results and staying active, working out and watching what I eat seems to be working. Cholesterol is 113, Medical chart says it should be between 100-199 HDL is 39, Medical chart says 39 or higher is good. Will adjust my proteins. LDL is 46, Medical chart says 99 or lower is good. Not since Facebook IPO has wallstreet seen such a big IPO. With today November 10th, 2021 being Rivian's or RIVN IPO which kicked off at $78 per share and has since surged to $106 per share, a 36% surge on their initial day has wall street seen such a crazy IPO. Rivian at the current trading price has pushed past $90 billion in book value. Course this did not stop the crazy stock pop that is normal as within minutes RIVN stock rose to $116 per share or more than a 50% jump from their starting IPO price before gain pairing happened and now is moving back and forth around the $106 per share range. This has RIVN start at a company valuation of $66.5 billion and is currently worth just a bit over $90 billion now. The initial upsized IPO was 153,000,000 shares of Rivian Class A common stock. Since then on Tuesday November 9th 2021, Rivian gave a 30 day option of an additional 22,950,000 Class A Common stock shares to sell is demand warrants by the underwriters. As it would seem, one would expect these shares to sell as well. The gross proceeds from this offering after discounts, commissions and expenses is to deposit into Rivian's bank account at least $11.9 Billion Rivian has stated that they have firm orders for 55,400 of their R1T and R1S auto's. They have a commitment for 100,000 Amazon Prime delivery vans of which Rivian says they will have 10,000 on the road by 2022 with the full 100,000 built and delivered by 2030 pending any additional conversions of options for more vans from Amazon to Rivian. Amazon (AMZN) with their $1 billion investment or 20% stake and Ford (F) with their $500 million investment or 12% stake are both backing Rivian and Ford has plans to have Rivian build select EV's for them though nothing has been committed to yet. Rivian as per their own CEO RJ and based on patent documents is planning a complete EV family of products for both retail and commercial application. It would seem that Tesla is no longer the crazy wild EV auto company stock ride, we now have Rivian. Bigger question is how will Rivian do once Ford and GM launch their electric trucks in 2022?
