  4. Washed n waxed the SS today. Love this product, makes the finish like a mirror.
  5. Seems now that the Plaid S is out, Tesla has also quietly decided to raise prices on another auto. No anouncement, but if you go to the configurator, base price for a Tesla Model Y is now $500 more. https://insideevs.com/news/513232/us-tesla-modely-price-increase/
  6. Other than the Chrome, loving the look. Hate the Low Profile run flat tires as that just takes away from the usefulness of the truck.

  9. It is 1971, your in your local Dodge Dealer trying to decide between the Charger or Challenger. As a single adult, you choose the Challenger with the 426 Hemi option. Now comes the next big question, do you order it with the M28 Hood and Fender trim package or not? If so, which hood option do you go with and do you go coupe or convertible? Even today, these rare pony cars are now bringing in big bucks if you have them with matching numbers, restore them and take them to auction. Yet those are the pony cars of the past and now we have todays Chargers and Challengers with modern monster versions of the Demon, SRT, etc. to name a few and still one thing is missing. The factory option of the Hood and Fender molding. A Artist and 3D modeller with a passion for American Muscle Cars was asked by his daughter what he thought a modern take on the M28 Hood / Fender molding might look like if Dodge was to offer one today. He took to it with gusto and came up with the following that he posted to Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/CP0wnWqlAth/ As such he did the models in various colors which you can check out at the link above and figured a modern Glory Model with the Supercharger would be the way he would go if he was Dodge. So the question being asked here especially for those muscle car enthusiast, what do you think of this take and should Dodge offer this package again for the current lineup of Charger/Challenger auto's? The designer posted the various pictures with the following: Last time i made a car for my girl made me think that i probably going to make this Glory name as a brand like hennessey or saleen or shelby. So heres my Glory concept of the Challenger, this is a remastered version of my original bodykit design back in 2019, new front bumper design, new rear diffuser lower valance, and new Blower Scoop on the hood bulge ? Its also have new supercharger with Glory signature carbon plenum. With goals to make this capable of 1000hp.. the Glory Challenger will be a production ready tuned challenger, probably with better handling package as well, since it has wider widebody, wider tires. With the glory challenger i want to bring back the good old Muscle car key design element back, the front facia will have a chrome like the old 70 Charger or body color option. The blower scoop is integrated into the hood with active butterflies that open with computer controlled valve. quad exhaust, and thicker rear wheels for better grip at the quarter mile. I really wish this Glory name could be my performance brand one day. A new breed of Streetmachines What do you think about this concept? 10. Seems many are starting to rethink Tesla, over half of the investment community has changed from buy to Hold or sell on Tesla after their stock has dropped 15% this year equal to 2019 and seems now that the Plaid S is out, Plaid S+ is canceled making some Tesla Fans concerned. Seems the new battery tech also now will not show up in the Plaid. Tesla (TSLA) Elon Musk Splashy Event May Underwhelm as Battery Questions Loom - Bloomberg Seems also bothering Wall Street is the lack of a COO and any succession plan for Musk if anything was to happen to him. Tesla desperately needs a COO or No. 2 for Elon Musk (msn.com) On top of this, at the event, yes blamed on higher material costs, but an immediate price in crease by $10,000 for Plaid S reservation people. The Plaid S will now start at $129,990 compared to a Long range Model S at $79,990 starting price. Tesla Luxury Model S Plaid Hits the Road With Higher Price Tag (msn.com) Crazy price increases, stock down 4.81% in June on top of the 15% down through the end of May. No succession in leadership, executive leaders leaving the company. Battery Day was a bomb per Wall Street, New 4680 battery cells are missing in action, UltraCapacitor Maxwell bought in 2019 for $200 million for their tech to make Tesla go faster and longer is still missing. Tesla acquires ultracapacitor and battery manufacturer for over $200 million - Electrek One has to wonder / question about the leadership in Tesla right now and for future products.

  12. Ignoring the other crud, Mercedes = GM End of debate. They both build cheap ass auto's to luxury auto's and Daimler current owner of MB also builds Vans like GM, Trucks and Buses. MB is NOT a Luxury brand only. It is a brand that builds some Luxury models. How does this relate to Tesla? It does not! End of debate.
  13. NEWS ALERT: GM is dropping auto start/stop from full size pickups/SUVs to keep production going due to chip shortage. Auto Stop-Start Removed In 2021 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra (gmauthority.com)
  14. At my Bi-yearly dental cleaning and saw this Cherry Saturn Sky! Lovely day in the PNW.
  15. Interesting read on Tesla and Competition. While they do not say that Tesla will go away any time soon, Tesla does need to pay attention to adding product and freshening up their portfolio faster as Companies like Rivian come to market, Ford and GM start producing their BEVs and other companies especially the Chinese enter the global market as they have shipped their first batch of 100 BEVs to Norway all pre-sold. I think we will see a very different landscape in the auto industry by 2025. Tesla Might Finally Have Some Competition. From Ford. - The New York Times (nytimes.com)
  16. I think you and I tend to shop the same, give me the facts, we set the stage, expectations by telling the sales person how what and when. Pretty much taking out all their game play. The Worst seem to be used auto sales people, then Ford, Ram and GM for people that smile to your face and lie knowing next to nothing about the auto. Yes Asian and European auto sales are just as bad, but I mostly just deal with used and American. At least with Marketing, they are doing their best to put a positive spin on the data they are provided. Sales People suck BIG TIME for the manipulation I see they try on people all the time from monthly payment focus rather than the true cost of the auto to stupid add on stuff. The reason so many family and friends have me help them buy an auto is that they hate dealing with the sales process.
  17. But, But, But the scenery is so nice with woman and lifted trucks!
  18. Ran an Errand to Business Costco and saw my first Racing Blue Mach-E go by in the opposite direction. Way better looking than the Tesla BEVs. Liking it more and more. Excited to start seeing the Rivian show up this summer on the roads.
  19. Seems not all Promotions are cracked up to be what they are meant to be. After leading the global auto sales and manufacturing plant growth for the last two years and working in Executive positions since 2010 reporting to Musk, Jerome Guillen after only 3 months in the Heavy Trucking Division tasked with getting Tesla Semi into production and on the road this year has chosen to leave effective June 3rd. Guess Tesla Semi will not make it out this year then. Wonder where this guy will pop up next at? Paccar now has a better chance as does Daimler with getting their EV trucks on the market ahead of Tesla. Seems Tesla house of cards is starting to crumble a bit more. Tesla veteran Jerome Guillen departs (cnbc.com)

  21. @surreal1272 Found the video of those woman above.
  22. I remember something my wife told me, Seeing a Woman dressed like this in Stiletto's indicates they like their men Tall and Long! I will say that is one thing I love about my Escalade is the silky smooth shifting even under aggressive throttle. Like a hot knife through butter.
  23. Some woman might disagree with you thinking this is for the Men and a Raptor is for the WoMan! Does make one wonder what the MPG difference was between using the 8 spd and if they had put in the 10 spd. ?
  24. Have to say that I hope they revamp the front end of the Ranger to more closely align with the rest of the truck famliy. Overall a good lookin lineup. Looking at the press release, I have to say I am not impressed with some of the power figures: Hybrid - 2.5L Atikinson-cycle four-cylinder hybrid powertrain - 191HP / 155 lb-ft of torque with CVT. EPA-estimated 40 mpg city / 37 mpg combined. with 13.8 gallon tank, 500 miles per tank. 1,500lbs payload / 2,000 lbs towing. 2.0L EcoBoost, 250hp / 277 lb-ft of torque with 8sp transmission, FWD or AWD configuration. 4K towing package doubles the towing to 4,000 lbs Apple/Android system inside, FIT's system for those with 3D printers, Co-Pilot 360, etc. FlexBed with tie-downs, slots, etc for customization of bed use. Two 110 outlets in the bed to go along with USB and 110 outlets in the cab. Bed is 4.5 feet long. Maverick to be offered in 3 trim levels, XL, XLT and Lariat at launch. FX4 package can be added to the XLT or Lariat AWD versions only. Over all a decent little truck, only mistake I see is the CVT on the Hybrid.
