  1. I sure hope they built this in 2008 cause as it stands i will be forced to buy a caliber for my wife, it's the ONLY small car that has any looks to it, and it's cheap!!! J-P
  2. GM gave up on the Fiero, i had an 86 and always regretted selling it, i rebuilt this 86GT and i just love it. just waiting for the the Fcar now J-P
  3. Is this what the car looks like without camo? http://auto.suzuki.ca/Data/Media/S_SX4_DAA_ANG_CMYK.pdf J-P
  4. I don't really like, photoshop all the way
  5. We should thank Ford for keeping the pony alive, i am happy behond words that GM will build the Camaro again, but Ford kept it alive, would GM have brought back the Camaro if ford stopped making the stang? I can't wait to get my new camaro biggest motor i can get, let the good times roll. J-P
  6. Here is a pic of my truck, i have tried to keep it all GM, of course the suspension is not, the frame either but the rest are basically stock parts that i modified. Hope you like it. J-P
  7. I honestly believe that if the took a jetta and badge it G6 and told the magazine that it was the new G6 they would lose just because it's a GM. I am so feed up with the American magazine putting down GM products, it doesn't seem to matter what GM builts (except for the corvette) it's never good enough. I really love my GMs they have given me nothing but good service over the years. i own an 86 Fiero GT do you guys remember how the magazine ALLWAYS put it down compared to the Toyota MR2, i remember because i kept the mags, my questions is which car has stood the test of time? you can buy just about any parts you want for it, there is business that specialise in Fieros, which car is being sought after? they still look current they are a testamony to good GM design. I am Canadian and it bugs me they always praise design from off shore, i buy American products because i also know that it helps ALL of us in North America. That's it i am off my soap box now. have a nice day. J-P
  8. I for one beleive him about the new camaro, we all want a new killer camaro, all of us, i can't wait but a close relative of mine works in new projets at GM, he told me about this exact car 5 years ago at the time he was working in ST-Therese, he descrisbe the car to me in some details. Now when i talk to him about the new car he grins, i told him it sounds to me like GM didn't want to spend the money on anything new so they dusted off the 5 year old concept to see what the response would be, he didn't say anything, i also told him that the Challenger looks like a "ready to be built concept" he agreed, i also told him GM better get going on the Camaro to compete, he told me not to hold my breath. He is an engineer very dry and to the point, we ended our talk on the fact that i taught GM was going down hill fast, and they piss me off and that if they don't have a muscle car ready to sell in 2 years i will be driving a Challenger (i can't beleive i said that) he told me to never come to visit him with it. J-P
  9. It just that we have been waiting for so long, i was expecting a more closer to production than this "thing". GM is in trouble and they need to get going on new product that we can buy, not dream about, how come Dodge did it? and GM can't, i am not waiting 2 years to see a production (narrowed by 6") before buying my next car.
  10. That's it? this is what we have been waiting for? if you guys think this exact car will be built you better wake up, GM did it again come out with a beautiful concept that can't be built, here why 1.look at the steering wheel, where do you suppose the air bag will go? and how nice when the CAMARO emblem kissed your forehead when it deploys. 2. over 79" wide? again i don't think so, that the same as the full size p/u 3. Gauges that you can't read 4. non existant bumpers 5. mirrors that are pretty much useless 6. 21/22" wheels on a factory car i fully realize this is a concept, but i am wandering what will be left of it when it comes to production, i have owned 5 f-cars over the year, but it looks like my next one will be a Challenger. Again GM is late to the party. have a nice day.
  11. The more i see of this car the more i will have one, again GM thanks for killing the F-cars :( P.S. why are people worried about the power of the camaro, it's never coming out so what's to worry about :(
  12. I may have 5 posts on this forum does that mean i haven't been reading what has been posted? maybe i don't want to just post for the hell of it. just to put it in perspective for you i am 45 i have own 5 f cars, 3 of them brand new, my first car was a CAMARO, i have never owned a Dodge. My uncle was one of higher up at the STE-therese plant, he is now working on future projets at GM, maybe i know i little bit more than what you are giving credit for? maybe. have a nice day sir.
  13. No pics no car it's that simple, as we speak we don't even know IF GM will built it, NO ONE from GM has come out and said for sure NO ONE, end of story
  14. if the Challenger doesn't get here till CY 2008 then the Camaro will not show up for at least 2 years after that, IMO the Challenger will be here in CY 2006 as a 2007. As far as engine goes i fully realize that GM could easily put 425hp under the hood, i am just saying they won't, for at least 1 or 2 years, i mean why would they? IF they come back with a decent Camaro they will practicly fly out of the showrooms, they might as well wait and start another standpede with the new higher engine when the sales slow down. And let's remember that NOBODY has seen the new mistery Camaro, no pics no specs no nothing.
  15. Where is the pics of the new Camaro? i know i know be patient, well you know what i am sick and tired of waiting, even if the camaro comes back in 2007 (very very slim chances) it will not have the kind of power to compete with the challenger 425hp at least, just like the solstice the first year will be so so, my lease will be up in 14 months and i am pretty sure i can get a challenger by then.
