  2. I just can't stand looking at her, listening to her tough-guy voice and watching her brusque (read: less than feminine) way of carrying herself. I'm sure that there are "normal" off-the-radar screen lesbians out there, but unfortunately, she comes right to the forefront when you think of the "packaging" of the bad attributes. I seriously hope her entertainment "shelf life" is limited, thus opening the way for somebody more worthwhile.

  4. Yeah!Response to thread: Thomas Kincaid
  5. OK, an 8-year old car with the 3.5, which was relatively uncharted territory at that time...how is the engine holding up for however many miles it has?
  6. GM1, do you actually live inside the Philadelphia city limits as you list on your profile or in one of the 'burbs?Every Philadelphian I've ever known lived in one of its suburbs - namely Upper Darby, Villanova and Media.

  8. At slightly over $ 20K, I will be getting a base GP or MC or something to that effect...with a 5 yr/100M warranty. Also, I need to use up my GM Card earnings, now at over $ 2,000.Now, if I do get an Intrigue, it will be as a second car and it will probably be a 1998 or 1999 that a Medicare Mabel has pampered and hardly driven. It would be interesting to know what the color of that Intrigue final 500 is.
  9. Landis, I have ONE reaction to the bench seat in a touring sedan:

  12. Oh, yeah, you're not kidding. About 2 years ago, I went into a Cad-Buick dealership in the area when the LaCrosse (Allure to you CDNs) was fairly fresh. I wasn't crazy about his price given that he was the fleet guy ($ 1500 off on $ 24000 USD car since I've done better dealing with a sales rep that had no special title) and then I told him I wanted an extended warranty. He kept on going about their local warranty. I told him, but not exactly these words: "You don't listen to the customer's desires, mofo, I don't even plan to stay in this area, so I don't want to deal with an unknown entity. GMPP or nothing." I wasn't ready to purchase, anyway. But, it will be GMPP or NOTHING.

  14. The Regal will stay with me through the year or early spring, depending on whether I decide to shoot for 250M for the hell of it. Do you want to buy it?Actually, I will continue put in the (not contraceptive - LOL) foam, even when the new sled arrives. :AH-HA_wink: to you too.

  16. Love you, too, ocn. Thanks for pointing it out!
  17. Ok, BV, personal Italian lesson for you tonightTranslation of your post: Mi porta il mal di testa. Per favore, smettete di parlare in lingue straniere.
  18. Looking forward to seeing them, ideally with some backdrops of some great local scenery from your area. Congrats.
  19. Guarda, la persona che ha fatto questa commenta abita vicino di te (meno di un ora, direi). Forse aveva a te in mente!
  20. Hmmm....I have several of the goop/foam bottles ($6.99 to $7.99) that obliterate the grey. I have some strands showing up, mostly around the sideburns and above the ears and I'd rather do without it, personally. So, I "foam it away" periodically to get back to a uniform head of dark brown hair. My best friend growing up is Cuban and has the jet black hair. He always had a bottle of this crap in his medicine cabinet since he was about 30 and he would periodically joke: "time to activate" -- meaning he was going to put the goop in his hair and get back to black. He looks about 10 years less than his chronological age to begin with, acts about 20 years less and, in brain power, is about 30 years less -- a wee bit immature! I guess I bought into the program, too.

  22. Please translate. I can be "pop culture challenged," as I start to get flecks of gray near my sideburns.

  24. You look like the double of a Jewish architect friend of mine who lives in the Bay Area. I'm sure he'd agree, too.
  25. Extended warranties - are they a good idea? I bought the GMPP for my 1992 Regal. The car had 3/36 but I got coverage up to 6 yrs and 72,000 miles. I NEVER had to use it once! I guess I should have been mad, but I would have had to pay beaucoup bucks for an air conditioning compressor and such had they gone out. OK, now I'm on the cusp of the new car purchase (in the fall, when I get back from Europe). If I snag a 2006 (some are still around), powertrain is 3/36 so I'd go 72 months again. If I snag a 2007 or 2008, powertrain is 5/100, so the extra year is more for the other accessories...which can be expensive...but I'd still go 72 months. Questions: Have you bought them or would you? What are they currently priced? Are the equiv. warranties cheaper for 2007/2008 over 2006 given that the base powertrain warranty has been extended? Your input is helpful. Thanks.
