There's "ooohing and aahing over this car" because its probably the best interior GM has ever made, and the first Buick car in years to have a modern powertrain and good driving dynamics.

I'm still amazed at how good the paint looks now. Makes me wish the dent in the driver's door wasn't there though.

Little story about this place. When I was young there used a place called Bea's. i don't remember what the food was like but they would regularly hold classic car shows in their parking lot. I remember going there regularly with my family to see all of the amazing classics...right down the road from where I live. They closed the shop, which was left standing for a while but was eventually torn down. I guess Methuen had plans to build a boat ramp but they never materialized. All that's left is an empty parking lot, save for a couple people who want to look at the river, and this memorial.

Cleaned the engine bay up a bit too...just needs the badge put back on.

Since the weather was nice and I had just washed the car I thought I would take my camera with me yesterday and snap some photos during the day's errands.

Yeah, I have one in the Prizm which doesn't look bad...it's dark gray withe some silver rather than having bright silver and what seems like chrome all over it. Thing with the LH cars is that their stereos are arounded at the edges and they match the curvature of the center stack so they fit flush. I couldn't live with a square peg in a round hole.

Very well thanks. drive it every day and just took it to Maine with my car last weekend. Did I ever mention it was rear ended a second time by some old guy in a beat to hell 80's Town Car? Yeah that was the final straw for delivery for me. Only put a couple scratches in the bumper at least.

No it's not. It's about 7 seconds. But then it makes less horsepower and torque than my 3.5 does. That's just pathetic really.

Am I insane? Sure maybe. However, by the time the insurance company settled with me, they have me double their original estimate, I got to keep the car, and they paid in full for my rental for two months. :wink: However if you don't want to deal with the hassle and they give you a reasonable starting price, then just take the check, and maybe see about your wheels.

There will never be an aftermarket stereo in my car, because it will look garbage.

I agree, it's too bad that more and more cars, like the Cruze, think its a good idea to have it.

No geniuses, I haven't "just found this out" However I just found this site out, and the other speed tests sites I've used didn't let you keep a .png of the results.

I agree, the Limited and LaCrosse are closer, but that's really all that GM has to go up against the SHO. The CTS is smaller and I think so is the STS...plus its more expensive.
