Hmmm.....well, not sure yet. I'm a bettin' we'll stop to eat lunch somewhere en route ... and then eat dinner in the 5-6pm range. *sighs* While I was reading my message boards last night, I about had a heart attack trying to "track" and "arrange" everyone's schedules for this...he he he. Course, there is still a slight possibility we won't be coming ... I'll know more tomorrow....

Hmmm....well, if Chevrolet intends to ax what they claim is the current "monte carlo" ... and have the new Camaro be the sole RWD, V8 option available ... I know this Monte Carlo guy won't be getting a new Camaro. I probably would get a GTO or Charger before I'd get a Camaro.... *shrugs* But, I'm sure I'm the only one on that.... Don't get me wrong ... I like the new Camaro ... I just doubt I'd buy one.... *nods* Yep...I sure do...lol. Heh...and that IS the car that was switched for the Chevrolet Beretta in that Knight Rider 2000 movie I mentioned in another thread. In the scene, Beretta cop cars are chasing a van. When someone in the back of the van shoots out a bomb/grenade to hit one of the cop cars, the cop car changes from a Beretta to one of those "Chargers" ... right before the bomb hits and the car explodes...heh.

Heh...yeah, while Camaro always stayed true, Chevrolet saved the "lamer slaps" for the Impala, Monte Carlo and Malibu.... *sighs* Ah, well ... it's good to know that other auto manufacturers slapped some good names on lamers, too, and that I'm not alone in being unhappy with the manufacturer of my favorite car.... *nods* So true. Heh...yet, I can't quite put my finger on it, but imho, there is something ironic about GM realizing that the consumer isn't always right ... and them (for the most part) believing that they are always right.... Hey NOS, Congrats on getting your proof.... Ya'll who love Camaros are so lucky right now ... you might say I'm a wee bit jealous. Yeah, I like the new concept, but it's a Camaro ... not my "cup of tea", so to speak. I'd much rather be talking about how Chevrolet finally brought back the Monte Carlo ... after it left the scene and never came back after 1988.... *shrugs* But, such is life ... enjoy your proof, NOS! If I get up there on Friday, I'll call both of you to figure out plans for Saturday.... And, you're welcome. One last thing ... don't get too crazy. Just be glad that your favorite car is on its way back. I'm still waiting for mine :(.
