Heh...already did, since I called you a few hours ago. Sorry I won't be there...for a few reasons.... First, I really can't justify extra expenses since I've been out of work for a month & have medical bills coming in due to the gallbladder surgery. Second, time ... while I've done "spur of the moment" 24-hr "odd" trips before [Dad & I have left Chicagoland early on a Saturday morning, driven to Pittsburgh, taken in a Cubs/Pirates game at PNC Park, & then driven back home right after the game], given that we'd only be at the show for maybe 4-5 hours ... that's not a lot of time to see the cars &, more importantly, meet up with all of the people from the various boards that I would want to see. And, third & foremost, I'm still not at 100%. The last few days, everytime I eat, I get cramps/pains in my abdomin. I think it's just a matter of my body adjusting to not having the gallbladder, but it is quite annoying.... *sighs* I'm very sorry ... & personally disappointed that I won't be in attendance this weekend.
