    FOR SALE

All I'll say is that I'm shocked it didn't sell..
  2. I hope all goes well for her on her trip.
  3. Thank you for all that information, thegriffon. With all that, do you have a final number tally of vehicles affected from each brand?
  4. Damn, dude, I never knew I was so popular haha. Errrbody with a sweet car wants my name on it.
  5. That does indeed look pretty $h!ty. Not even an amateur would be able to get such a bad shot..
  6. Tell them to simply test drive a new GM, no matter the level of vehicle (Cobalt, STS, Acadia.. something). They'll see the difference if they give in to just a little bit of their time to test them.
  7. haha I was just going to say.. +1 (err uhh 30k) for Toyota!
  8. haha No kidding.. This site right here is amazing for helping me: http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/gmc/
  9. Alright, so I was just talking to my mom on AIM a little bit ago and sent her some pictures of the Ram and Sierra... one of each from the dashboard, front seats, rear seats, and front end of the trucks. She preferred the Sierra in every picture and pretty much said that the Sierra's interior is badass. Then I started telling her about how the Sierra gets better gas mileage and can tow better than the Ram and she was pretty much sold.. I told her to tell my dad about how great the Sierra is compared to the Ram, and I know she definitely will lol. Sweet!
  10. Looking online, even the LTZ (the highest model) is equipped with the 5.3. I don't see an available 6.0 (unless that's maybe the Sierra?)
  11. Yeah, looks like 2008-201x are going to be like the Muscle Car wars of the old days.. but with much better technology, power, and imports...
  12. Eh, I've thought about it because that's what Cort does and I, at first, thought it would be cool for everybody to do it... however, sometimes you're looking for a certain member's post and you recognize their posts by their sig. Then you won't see their post if you're looking for a sig. Anyway, as an option it's a neat feature, but as standard OEM equipment, I say no thanks.
  13. No, I know it wasn't a Lexus, he said Toyota "street car" or something like that. IDK what he's talking about.Anyway, any numbers on recalls for me to prove him stupid?
  14. Yeah, well I didn't say anything after he said that and he kept on with it saying, "Oh yeah, the Z06 is nothing compared to this. Yeah, that's right. This makes the Z06 slow." I just told him that the Corvette's getting a higher-end model that's going to be kickass, that's all.
  15. Happy Birthday! (Hey, I'm late in my timezone, but not yours! haha)
  16. Oh, no, that's another thing. One of his first points was that some Toyota car was faster than any production GM vehicle ever produced, which really proved nothing to me. But, who knows.
  17. I don't know what ServiceAdvisor is..?
  18. Oh, some kid I go to school with.
  19. I, too, heard they had a high HP number and were just going to cut it to around 650 HP, making it easy to mod the engine to a lot more HP. However, the amount I heard was a little higher than 700.
  20. That's very true and something I didn't think of. However, given the conversation we had, he won't listen to that.
  21. Holy $h!, this kid is bothering the **** out of me. I said something about GM making a comeback within the next 3-4 years (because he noticed me on a GM site) and he contradicted it saying they've said that the last 30 years. Actually, they haven't. And, so, he says, "Fine, then what do you think GM is doing that Toyota isn't?" And I told him that GM's quality and the perception of GM are both off-base and not good enough. "Yeah, you're right.. and they're not going to fix it." "Why do you say that?" "Because they never have. They've always had stuff wrong with their products." "Well watch in the next 3-4 years and they'll prove you wrong." "Well it's not just their designs that suck, it's their engineering and everything. *we start talking about the Camaro concept* That's going to have a terrible, unreliable transmission. GM is notorious for that." "Actually, no, that transmission is not a GM transmission and is used by many manufacturers in high-performance applications (talking about the T56)" "Well then what about the differential? I'm sure that will blow out." "I don't know what the differential will be though, so that's unfair. The concept's differential was off of the CTS and it won't necessarily be the same differential in the production version." "See, I told you! And they're going to have bad transmissions because GM has always had bad transmissions." "No, actually, GM has great transmissions. Name one bad transmission." "Back in the 70s..." "No, that's totally irrelevant. This is 30 years later, dumbass. Technology is nothing compared to the 70s." Then we got into recalls and he said GM has many more recalls than Toyota. I asked for when he was talking about.. before or this year? And he said even this year GM was way more recalls than Toyota because Toyota hardly has any. So, now I ask this question..
  22. Who knows the exact number of recalls for both Toyota and GM for 2006 so far? I'm debating it w/ someone and yeah..
  23. Sounds like you're still having fun with roadtrips even late into the year. Cheers to that and glad you're having fun, Cort!
  24. Well, we have two PCs and a laptop at home, but my mom likes my computer and my sister goes on it from time-to-time, too lol. Anyway, carry on with the thread and speculation...
  25. Oh yeah, that's a definite. After I get out of my next couple classes, I'm going to search inventory around home (there are at least 3 Chevy dealers close to home) for a 4x4 LT 5.3 Crew Cab Silverado and try to see if I can set-up a scheduled test drive (can you even do that? lol) sometime Friday because I'm going home for the weekend. Then, we'll head over to the Dodge dealership who always has a huge assortment of leftover Rams and testdrive a comparable Ram with 4x4, Quad Cab, and a Hemi.
