  1. You forgot the amazing lines on the roof!
  2. ...but I think that gives the concept just that much more of a '93-97 spin, which is a good thing, in this case.
  3. If you want a '69, buy one. I want an '09. And I love what they've got in store for us.
  4. Oh I'll be there all day on the 14th. I swear I'll be the crazy person you'll hear about in the detroit free press who ran to the Camaro. lol My birthday is one week later, the 21st. And thanks! And I'm willing to meet up! I'll be there with two of my close friends.
  5. I know I did. I remember last winter.. January/February-ish going to the gas station where a random gas pumper asked if the Camaro was mine... "Yep, sure is." "Well you oughtta take good care of 'er. Ya know.. they don't make those anymore!" "Nope, but they're coming sooner than you expect." "You think so?" "My proof will be at the next international auto show in detroit. In January of '06" He gave me a "stupid kids" look. Well, I wasn't gonna lie!
  6. But it will be perfect in '09. We've waited 4 years already. What's another 2?
  7. Exactly. I want to chop it, but all I can do is change the color and add a stripe..
  8. I have a crush on Camaro.
  9. In almost 12 hours this thread got over 120 posts and almost 3800 views. Damn that's good for a forum of this size!
  10. MUSTANG OWNERS... WHAT?!?! PWNED!
  11. Normal college kids can't. I will be able to. I'll have a nice job. And, therefore, I'll even get a GM discount :AH-HA_wink:
  12. haha You guys will just be jealous when I'm the first one cruising the streets in my black '09 SS.
  13. OMG! The black one is my next car. I swear it. I love it. OMG. Scott Settlemire, this one's for you
  14. Sorry to edit your post NOS, but I want to make sure that everyone knows this is where to post pics and discuss the pics of the Camaro that were leaked. - Northstar. So, everyone have fun discussing, and please keep the discussion in here!
  15. I'm at this place near my grandma and grandpas that looks like a dealership lot with a house out front. Weird, but I'm checking out a bunch of these Camaros. Then I see a Solstice GXP in bluestone I think it is? Well the owner of the car walks up to me and says, "Hey, jump in my car. If I beat you to your house, you can keep my car along with yours. If you win, the Camaro's mine and you can keep the Solstice." So, I go for it.. A car that's about 550 lbs lighter and has at least 40 more hp and tq? Hell yeah. So I see him take a different route to my house (how does he know where I live?) and I jump through the redlight and go speeding down to a 4 lane road where I turn and am swerving and weaving through tons of cars. I beat him home, and he tells me the keys are mine and also that all the cars on that lot were his.
  16. No, the Solstices seem pretty quiet to me..
  17. I think you watched it because it was based on four guys..
  18. I do believe it's all in your taste. If you're more sporty, 300ZX. More loud and muscular, Camaro. I'd be in a four second rut, but would eventually go for the domestic.
  19. haha My parents were born in '65 and '69. Old? Ha! Overly wise about the 70s? Doubt it..
  20. THEY SHOWED THE LS1TECH CAMARO SHOTS! They said Ford helped allow three huge ponycar debuts this year. The first they showed was the new GT500. And they showed it. Then the Challenger. They showed the interior, front, and back. A lot. And then they said "GM and Chevy MUST have something here too with their 'secretive Chevy coupe' and it MUST be the Camaro." And they asked if it would be sleek like the SS concept (as it looped around a track) or more modern or something as they showed the front/rear LS1tech shots. Ahh!
  21. Watch your avatar. It is simply hilarious!
  22. One could decipher a wit from Mr. Lutz's response, "What earthly purpose does a 500-hp car have?...is there really a rational reason for a 50 mpg car?" He asks an ironic question, "What...purpose does a 500-hp car have?," but allowed the 505 HP Z06 to make production. With his syntactical choices in the given citation, he clearly iterates a sense of humor, allowing his proceding comment on the rationality "for a 50 mpg car" to be perceived by the reader as witty and, therefore, clever. This misleads the reader but tactfully keeps the key to his plan reserved while simultaneously telling of the coming products GM will produce through a form of wording that is commonly misinterpreted.
