  1. That '77 is absolutely stunning.
  2. That 50's race car is the bomb, Very cool. Where did you find that pix.
  3. Hey, Where did everyone go to. We haven't had a post for weeks.
  4. There are some great pictures coming in!!!! Keep them coming!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)
  5. ] This is the 1972 Hurst Olds prototype. ] Picture of Stohlman Olds/Datsun in 1970. 34 years later they put us out of business.
  6. ] Unique things they used the early Toronado's for.
  7. This is a great 442 Camino conversion. This car is perfect.
  8. This was a Toronado used to push cars in parking lots etc. picture is from 1982 OCA Nationals.
  9. Sadly it is torn down. So sad. If you look at the topic title page under the heading Goodbye, you can find a pix of the plant back in 1985 that still has the Oldsmobile name on top of the building before it was changed to B.O.C.
  10. This a 72 H/O Pace Car with Linda Vaughn and the Golden Shifter.
  11. This a pix of the 1977 Hurst Olds protoype that wwas never produced in mass. What a shame.
  12. GM 1 You are WELCOME! Do you ever get that thing to the Olds Nationals?
  13. This is a Toronado Airport Limo that was at the Olds Club National Meet in Dallas around the 4th of July. The owner says that there were about 150 built, but does not know how many remain.
  14. Hey GM1, That is one awesome 61 Ninety Eight.
  15. It only made sense that the Alero was the final car produced under the Olds nameplate. It was already in production since 1999 at the Lansing plant, the original home of Oldsmobile. Olds started with the compact size Curved Dash Olds and ended with the compact sized Alero. I have one of the Final 500 Alero's, #448 and love it. I have been into 442's and Olds muscle cars since I was 14 and proudly enjoy driving this small and very quick car while in my mid 40's. I also have a 71 442 ragtop. OLDS WILL LIVE ON !!!!!!!!!!
  16. It's lookin great so far!!!!!
  17. If anyone has any unique Olds related pictures, not just everyday cars but, internal factory pictures, employee related pictures, Concept cars, one of a kind cars, Olds sponsored events etc., lets start posting them. I am personally building up a photo file to help keep Olds in the spotlight for decades if possible. I will eventually will have a large picture board made up for the Olds Club of America.
  18. I think you have the right idea Sal. GM can't wait to pull the plug on OLDS permanently. I just wonder if they really believe that loyal Olds owners will buy other GM products after what they have done. I can't believe I am about to say this but the Dodge Charger, and the Challenger show car are looking really good now. GM you did a bad bad thing.
  19. All that I have to say is I LUV my 2004 Final 500 Alero!!!!!!!!!! I have had No Problems and is driven almost daily.
  20. I was one of those loyal to the end guys. Even though GM made the worst mistake of their life, I bought one of the Final 500 Alero's. Everytime I look at it, and then my 71 442 I shake my head and wonder who was the moron who made the ultimate decision(may he rot in HELL).
  21. The sad thing is that there were 21 bids(OOOOOOOOHthat hurts). That means there are that many people with really bad taste in cars out there.
  22. Beleive it or not they stuffed a 3800 v-6 in to that ugly concept car. Notice the windshield is longer than the average Cutlass, the motor extends well underneath the dashboard. Can you just imagine having to service that that thing. Thank God for un-answered prayers!(as Garth Brooks once sang)
  23. It deserves a worse grade than that! My 10 year old could design a better looking car than the TCX.
  24. I found out how to post pix and here it is. The TCX concept.
  25. Thanks for the info on photos!!!!!! I would have never figured that out on my own.
