Didn't want to throw this into the GM Merchandise forum, since these arent readily available. But, since I was cleaning up around here and found these I thought I'd snap a couple pics and throw 'em up. I mentioned these to Cort last week. Got these in fall of '84 when the '85s came out. These were the ones on the wall at the Chevy dealer. They are fairly thick cardboard. Wanted the Vette and Camaro ones, but a salesman snagged them. So I ended up with a bunch, but these are the only two I have left. I had Chevette, Citation X-11, Astro, and Silverado ones (those that I can remember anyway). Funny part was that in '89, I bought an '85 Eurosport like this one except all black.

My pleasure. As I said, it made the trip a little less boring to spend some time chatting over lunch. And, Josh, yeah we've chatted a few times and I met you in person at your place of employment. Always fun. So far that's it for me. Josh & Cort. Maybe more at NAIAS this year.

As you may have guessed by the avatar - Van Halen. However, I am really liking the new Nickelback I bought last week.

So did you ever consider that not every car at the Tech Center is a GM employee?? There are plenty of contract workers and supplier workers there who don't get the perks of a GM discount, nor support only GM in their job roles. That said, I have no problem with preferred parking for GM products. If they were smart, they would make the non-GM vehicles park in areas that can't be seen from around the perimeter.

This is a couple years old. It is an Anson models '98 STS. The hood, trunk and front doors open. The wheels turn also. My interior pic didnt come out, so if I can get a better one I will edit this post to add it.

This is out now. It is a repaint of the red first edition from earlier in the year.

There should be a new batch of colors coming soon also. The 442 comes out in blue with white stripes and the Chevelle in yellow.

I know one that got a ticket for 130 mph on 696. It was not a pretty ticket ($$$). He was in an Allante back in the early 90s.

My gut reaction is its a Corvair, but thats probably not right.

Check your local Kmart. I think that is the only place they are out at the moment.

Well, I try not to do anything too seriously. But, yes, I buy two of models I want to open. You guys only get pics of the GM stuff, but I collect much more than that. In fact, it would probably frighten me if I sat down and figured out how many cars I have now (and $$ spent). Mostly all 1:64, but other sizes too as particular models strike my fancy. I have a couple dozen 1:18 (mostly GM) as well as assorted 1:24, 1:43, etc. I was thinking about posting some of my 1:18 cars in a photo essay, but I have yet to take those pics. If there is interest I will do so. Whaddaya think?

There is a regular one available. No sticker or DC logo on the trunk. But the packaging is the same and will be hitting stores any time now. (I bought one today, in fact.)

Yeah. I know. Glad I saw them last year. Unless Eddie gets his stuff together, I suspect they are done, save for maybe a performance at the RnR HoF.
