  1. No sir, I don't like it! This is really looking like Oldsmobile all over again! It better not be what's happening... Wake-up guys! You need all of your brands, as you've said yourselves; you might want to give them all a nice competet lineup as well while you're at it. I man, there's a difference between refocusing a brand and euthanizing it.
  2. Well, I'm in... However, like others have already mentioned, it picks a random generic location when you enter the name of your city and such under location. I ended-up in the middle of wheeler Blvd., a 4-laned highway that goes around town. Needless to say, I don't live in the middle of the highway. Anywho... I'm in, I'm the only Maritimer here, it would seem and I might move the marker to a slightly more accurate position, if I can actually get it to work.

    Hi!

Hmm... well since I have so many replies to reply to, I'll cover them all in one post... 1 - I'm not the only young Buick fan out there, but alot of people still look at me like I'm crazy when they find out about that... heh And thanks! _____________________________________________________ 2 - Thanks! _____________________________________________________ 3 - I have no problem with that and even know some people who are gay in real life. My philosophy in life is pretty much I won't bother you if you don't bother me. And by that I really mean bother, not the antisocial definition where bother=talk to and such. Oh and that applies to anyone, regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. _____________________________________________________ 4 - Thanks! _____________________________________________________ 5 - Thanks! And no, I actually started with a Dodge Spirit, then went to a Focus for a little while before finally going to a Buick. I've always been a GM guy though, especially Buick and Cadillac. _____________________________________________________ 6- Thanks but it's no... ehh... have any presents? No? Oh, well it's not my birthday, but thanks anyway...

    Hi!

Well, new guy here taking a few minutes to introduce himself. I'm Denis, a 22 year-old guy from Moncton, NB, in Canada and, obviously a GM fan and general auto enthusiast. I'm also a university student who's studying in journalism and I have my own little "web-based media outlet" where I write about, you guessed it, cars. I've heard of this site many a time before, but I never really visited more than that up until I saw an incoming link from thia forum to one of my writeups on my site. Checked-out the place, thought it looked like a pretty good place with plenty of interesting discussion going on, so here I am. Anyway, I guess that all I have to say for now... I look forward to (hopefully) many discussions about all things car and especially GM. Oh and my fav brand is Buick; yes, I'm a 22 year-old Buick fan! Shocking huh?
  5. Gee, thanks... It's nice to read blanket statements like that that insult what you do and, consequently, yourself. While I am aware that part of the industry definitely has its problems and some definitely seem to have lost their way, no longer following the basic code of ethics, neutrality and whatnot; I still don't appreciate labelling the whole lot because of a few rotten apples.
  6. Actually, isn't GM's "mission" something to the effect of building a car for everyone? Of course, any company in the world will want to best its competition and, even moreso, make make money. However, I'm quite sure that the official GM mission I've heard in the past went something like "A car for everyone..."
  7. I think the author of the write-up in question just doesn't really believe in censoring anyone or filtering what they have to say. :AH-HA_wink: That said, I must admit that it is a bit of a long read.
