2008 VUE Green Line gets 25mpg city/32mpg hwy
I saw that too. They don't give what EPA standard those numbers are based on, but they compare 2007 vehicles in its class.

Is this the mild-brid or the hybrid?

Some tidbits on the Chevy Zeta's
May be they will keep Bu for another year as Classic and unload it in Fleets.

Some tidbits on the Chevy Zeta's
So the current Bu will have a life of only 4 years? 2008-2011 I guess. Ramos for Delta is understandable, since Lutz said about year and half ago that it is difficult to make money on small cars produced here. I guess they are banking big time on Gamma in sheer volume. It seems like GM has something up its sleeves. Sure confirm it.

Some tidbits on the Chevy Zeta's
Does that mean current Cobalt will go without MCE? It will seem pointless to give it a facelift only for 2009. It seems like it will be brand new for 2010.

CONCEPT: Toyota 1/X
What crash safety rating will it get. (minus) *****?
-
CONCEPT: Daihatsu Mud Master
That is it, I am no longer buying Oakley's stuff. After sponsoring this sh*it from Toy.
-
CONCEPT: Lexus LF-Xh
The center console is for the driver who does not want a hand job or a blow job from the front row passenger. Why don't they build a wall between. God, Japanese and their concepts. Please cut the world some break.

CONCEPT: Toyota Hi-CT
It looks like they copied this and reduced it and then cut it in 1/4.
- A Mini SAV?

2008 Silverado/Sierra earn 5-star side impact ratings
With Stability Control standard on most of the models except I think the LS Extended Cab model and the Single Cab model, I think they will generally fair better.

With the advance of Prestressed Concrete in foundation engineering and cast in place piles, cable Stressed Bridges are becoming expensive compared to regular girder over pile bridges. The only thing in favor of Cable Stressed Bridges are their aesthetics. Engineers will rather have multiple locations of piles, and transfer smaller loads on each rather than having one huge span of Cable stayed bridge.

2008 Silverado/Sierra earn 5-star side impact ratings
Toyota is bolstering the Turd mules that are going to be sent to the Crash Testing so that it gets 5*. Does it sound familiar?

Car and Driver G8 test
One thing I will disagree. C&D do not bitch about GM for every small reason. Look and read about their reviews for GM vehicles. They do hump BMW, but I will say when it comes to humping GM they are better than crapmunds, ####-tumor reports, automobile etc. Csaba Csere is a self proclaimed GM fan and more than once has taken attacking stance against Toy, Horndawg and $h!san.

2009 Pontiac Vibe GT
I rather find it as a Sentra Hatch, not Toyota. Well marriage of Toy and GM brings out Nissan, no wonders Ghosn feels like getting GM like an abandoned child wanting to take his father's legacy. Yup, brings out a bastard child who is also an enemy. Any photos of the interior?

Something rather UGLY from Tokyo
And Japan Co. regain the Title of most Hideous Cars from French Co. Reuters Inc. What rivalry can exist between the soft spoken Japanese and mild mannered French? Well something which the world would not have imagined, to bring in concepts which would let the world go to the restrooms instantaneously for creating urge to vomit. French till late have been producing ugly designs from Peugeot to Citreon to Renault. People looking at these models were simply dumbfounded and bringing forth questions starting, What were they _________? (Options included Thinking, Imagining, Drinking, Smoking, F$cking, etc.) Japanese trying to not to be outdone by others (like always reverse engineering better products) have come one up by starting to reverse engineer ugly designs. Like this current concept from Nissan. However, French may have the last laugh, as Nissan is partly owned by Renault, and thus can claim that they still retain the crown of most hideous concepts.

Edmunds previews Malibu
GM has said no plans yet for the SS.

Edmunds previews Malibu
I have only one dissatisfaction, for an otherwise good car. GM should have put the detuned 3.6DI in it and cranked about 280hp. I hope GM puts DI in the Bu ASAP. The 2.4DI and 3.6DI will rock out.

Throwing debris off bridges
Its simple. Parents don't teach responsibility in these kids. And with youtube and other online media providing a battering ram in their minds to do things which are insane, such incidents will rise. I agree with griffon, but it is their parents who should be also charged with attempted murder for producing kids like these.

EnerDel Unveils Lithium Ion Battery Pack for Hybrid Electric Vehicles
Still not according to GXT. Here is the logic: It is partly owned by Delphi, which is partly owned by GM. Which means GM is using its ownership of Delphi leverage to toot their own horn.
