I think it is a herd effect just as Toyota's superior build quality was. But in this case, it is the truth. The slew of recalls made sheep people think that Toy was suddenly POS, and not to be left behind are harranguing to find problems for their vehicles. Few years ago they were the same blokes who used to be proud that Toy fixed their vehicles while offering them pizza or hot dogs and then asked them to call Toy stellar build vehicle.

Chevy did have decklid spoiler in the Build You Chevy to replace the Ironing Board in 2007. The Recaros and LSD were discontinued in 2007 although LSD was offered as a standalone option as part of GM performance part accessories.

That is a little bit pricey for a LS2. A brand new one can be about 7.5k
