  1. He's cheap and only wants to pay about $15k with a trade in. His 00 Silverado is one of the nicest out there... and he's only put 20k miles on it.
  2. It was 50 today? Guess I was sleeping... was about 40 tonight, so it seems possible. Personally, I love it. I hate the cold, I hate snow, and I hate winter.

    JACKASS!

Haha... I want to see it. Something about dumbasses hurting themselves is amusing.
  4. Photobucket is the best... Ive never had any problems and its easy to use even on dial up.
  5. I think it, along with the others, were part of a mini brochure out some car mag.Anyways, you guys are all welcome.
  6. Yesterday morning... around 6 or 7, I saw an infomercial for the new Silverado. Very cool. Wish I had a way of recording it, so I could show my grandpa since he wants to replace his 2000 with one.
  7. To Northie, for keeping us argumentative members in check. To Nick, for giving everyone something interesting to stare at while reading your posts... be it your gorgeous BMW, your dancing milk man, or your bouncing Chevy girls. To WMJ, for being... different... in a good way, you know... since he likes to grow Wild Manjoes. And to Ocn, for making most of us laugh out loud at his humorous posts. To Sixty8, for never changing his views on what he loves and hates about certain vehicles. To Dodgefan, for... well.. being a Dodge fan despite DCX's sad looking future. To CJ, for loving decklids so much so that he will never look at hatchbacks in a positive way... and also for reasons better left unmentioned. Finally, to everyone else who were unfortunate enough to not make my tribute, for giving us all a reason to never give up on C&G.
  8. With 2007 just a few days away, I thought I'd end 2006 on a good note with you guys. It's cheesy and simple... So don't hate me for that. I'd like to start a toast to the new year and all the happenings of the current one. Just pick a drink, mix it, and enjoy. To Chris, for reasons better left unmentioned. To Fly, for keeping his composure after the attack of Toyotas he endured. To Z, for all his work on making sure C&G doesn't suffer another crash. To NOS, for jumping out of all those birthday cakes. And to GMtruckguy, for his enthusiasm in Saturn... he bought two of them after all. To Reg, for never giving Honda... or Acura a chance. To Camino, for his heartache of having to part ways with his beloved collection. To Balthazar, for his love of classic Detroit iron. And to Cort, for his love of traveling the country and meeting all sorts of car enthusiasts. To all the Canucks for keeping us Americans in check... and being our slightly weird neighbors of the north. To Mustang84 and Trinacriabob, for sharing an interest in architecture... and both of their interesting posts.
  9. That... has nothing to do with what I said. The C6 is just an upgraded C5, while the C5 was an updated C4 is what I'm saying. Originality and sexiness left as soon as the the C5 arrived. It was a bloated C4. The C6 is a trimmer bloated C4 with some barely noticeable lines etched in and Modena headlights. The only good thing about the C5 or C6 are how they perform. Great chassis, great engines, decent comfort. But to look at? I'll pass. Give me a real Corvette like the beautiful C2.
  10. Yeah... Why they couldn't have done that themselves amazes me. It looks so much better.
  11. I would have to agree. I loved my dad's old 77 Scottsdale... before it rusted out and he took cheap spray paint to it. First flat black, then camo, then flat black again.
  12. I wish I could win the lottery so I could help you out so you wouldn't have to get rid of them. I'd throw in a free Solstice, too.
  13. I definitely like the new front end. Much better.
  14. Sorry to rain on the Anti-Viper parade, but as far as looks go, it's by far sexier than the Vette. No question about it. The Vette used to be sexy... in the 60's. But the C5 and C6 are just bulbous, warmed over C4s. As they say, there's nothing like the original. C2, C3, C4, and the Viper > C5 and C6. Oops, I didn't make anyone cry, did I? As far as the interior goes, it is definitely pathetic, that I'll agree with.
  15. Wow.. I like the front, but that rear absolutely turns me off. I think it would look much better as a real sedan with real headlights and taillights.
  16. It's alright, but the exterior isn't exactly what I was hoping for. I'm with Satty, I wish it looked more like the Murano.
  17. This is it? Okay. I'm not impressed at all. It's certainly an improvement over the current one, but that's it. I don't think it's much better than the Camry or Accord and it certainly lacks compared to the Altima, Mazda6, Aura, or even the Fusion. The front is trying to be distinctive yet plain at the same time. The headlights suck, there shouldn't be three separate center grills, and the proportioning is off. It has potential, but needs work. The rear does as well. It looks unfinished and like an afterthought. The sides look great, though. As does the interior, other than the all gray scheme.
  18. Hmm... Thinking about it, I used to get nose bleeds, usually during the winter. It's been a while though. Course, we have a wood burner for heat...
  19. Someone in a Buick Century (1997+) tried to race me. I wasn't going to let that happen and answered back. That Century had a head start and still didn't stand a chance.
  20. Who's Jesus? Is he that guy from way back when that was high all the time and imagined he could levitate and come back to life and such?
  21. I dont know about all that, but I have random allergies, and they like to annoy me at random times. Like not that long ago, I had a sneezing fit. Not fun.
  22. You know its sexy.
  23. You guys are definitely technophobes. I love it all. The more utterly useless gadgets and gizmos, the better.
  24. I'm one of the few... I like to celebrate all sorts of anniversaries.

    3 Years

Yes, I'm starting this thread once again, just like each year before it. As of yesterday, the 27th, was my 3 year anniversary of joining C&G. Its sad that I remember it, but it's fun. It's hard to believe I've been here this long. There have been times when I never wanted to come back to C&G and times where I never wanted to get off the internet because of it. That and usually I'm not very committed when it comes to online forums. This is the only forum that I've been continuously active on for this long. Usually, I forget about a forums after about a month. So it's been a refreshing ride. Hopefully, it won't come to an end anytime soon. I would like to eventually meet most of you even if you don't want to meet me... For whatever reason.
