  1. Wood fired pottery is so awesome!
  2. How modern Americans don't respect each others boundaries.... Three minutes of your time...worth it. The whole video, actually...
  3. My son took a driving test in the middle of the day, had to use his headlights for the test when this happened. Human stupidity is epic.
  4. You see the same thing with lumber farms in Oregon, David. Trees planted way to close together, use up all of the available water, and create a huge fire hazard when one starts. With global warming, a day of reckoning is coming, and it won't be nice.
  5. The classic car carnage is apparently sadly rather high from these fires. Southern California has such an active automotive scene, I hate to think of what is lost. Olds Toranado content warnong for Drew...
  6. Music cover for Monday From Scratch Andrea Doria for another member here that will remain nameless... For a certain Canadian member that loves Aviation...
  7. It's unreal that I have family in California, North Carolina, and Florida. All three sets of family have been heavily impacted by this crap. To end on a happy note, some 5.0 Mustang content in honor of one of our members here....and because I like Mustangs.
  8. I see it being more like VW trying to market Chrysler minivans. Monkeys fornicating with footballs. Again pigskin deserves better, just like car buyers. As much as I bitch endlessly about the government, I absolutely love living in Ohio. I think Columbus and Salt Lake City area are the two places in the US I could really enjoy living. Tucson might be a third, but not Phoenix. Wildfires in California have been catastrophic... We are incapable of learning as a species, especially as Americans it would seem. Unreal. My aunt lives in LA and lost count the other day....over 100 fire trucks past her house down her street. She and my uncle have lived there since 1973, 51 years of living in the same house will probably go up in smoke as wildfires keep getting closer.
  9. I have sympathy for the sharks...they should have higher quality food. Not buying another GM product..... Strange world we live in. Modern Nissan products seem to be the automotive equivilent of a middle school boys locker room fart joke....which is appropriate because Honda getting in bed with Nissan is like the calculus nerd in your high school graduating class getting with a psychotic Onlyfans model because he wants a tradwife to dress cottage core and raise babys. I don't think the merger or owning Nissan products will end well for those involved. I am amazed at how right Kia/Hyundai get design, and how wrong Nissan gets it.
  10. I think it is going to go the other way....
  11. Interesting thinking here It certainly is mine...
  12. Good to know! I just want to hike in the wilderness at this point...
  13. Of all of the bad automotive ideas, this ranks near the top.
  14. “The real problem of humanity is the following: we have paleolithic emotions; medieval institutions; and god-like technology.” - E.O. Wilson
  15. Ohhhhhh Shiiiiit.....
  16. Evidently Germany is having trouble with its rail system...
  17. I can appreciate that...but I have eaten at a lot of food markets that were less than stellar. Would trust this clean restaurant more than a bunch of others. But I dig your point...
  18. See my post in Random Thoughts, the complexity of modern ICE vehicles will create major problems for them moving forward.
  19. I want to eat here
  20. Teslas are overpriced junk....
  21. Swing baby swing... Swing baby swing...
  22. It is a two edged sword, modern cars are hugely complex People are actually driving them more, as newer cars have become more complex and more difficult to repair. Gravy meal team six is a thing... I keep a large stock on hand in my woodworking shop. Should be an interesting test of the incoming administration.
