... if the G8 ST isn't annnounced there, I may shelve all notions of a new car purchase. The truth is that I don't now, nor ever will, need to buy a new car again. I have all but decided that I will not settle for close anymore, either they build exactly what I want, or I will buy used cars I actually like. I will not compromise. Although I like the new Camaro, it just isn't me. I don't want to be part of such a large crowd. I may buy a used one someday, but I just can't see shelling out the cash for a car that is almost what I want. Sad really, I enjoy buying new.

GM has one more chance left to sell me a new car in the next few years, I hope they don't blow that as well.

The wagon would have helped to recoup those costs, not increase them.

The wholesale abandonment of RWD after years of neglect wasn't fixed by the advent of these lackluster products, now so long in the tooth. Mundane wasn't good enough then, and it isn't good enough now.

They could only have imported 5-10 thousand, all would have sold easily.

The cancellation of the Magnum gave this car an easy market - they would have sold every one imported quite easily.

Both are hideous and pointless. The GM10 and W should never have existed in the first place, something much better could, and should, have been in place. Like the creation of Saturn, these cars are a defining blunder.

I think it wounded GM every year of its existence. It is a symbol of a GM that lost its way.
