  1. I've always liked the Monza - it would make a great drag car. In fact, it was a common choice for NHRA Pro Stock back then.
  2. The G8 as you have seen it is already a done deal and in production. Personally I like it (except for the clear tails and the fact it's a sedan). What you've seen is what you get - at least for now.
  3. More like La Chica. La Chica gorda y fea!
  4. Haha! It took me decades to warm-up to them myself! Now, I really like them. As for the shop, once I add heat and some real lights, it will be my true heaven. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. No. Please. They'd just use it as an excuse not to bring the real thing to market.
  6. Some quick shots in the barn last night. Have to get some good outdoor shots for the calendar later.
  7. You have it right, Ocn. Here are the grilles on my '77s: No base models here. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. It will likely be fine for a while and then revert to utter crap. That seems to be the sort of service we get from dreamhost.
  9. It's a '76 because it has a mesh grille, the '77 has slats. Yes, they put the Monza name on the wagon and it got the cheapo, round headlight, Monza nose.
  10. And you're surprised?
  11. Opel love? Is that what's making me ill? Tell them to keep it, I'm not interested.
  12. You have much to learn.
  13. The Japanese obsession with pointless technology like this boggles the mind.
  14. Don't get too comfortable with it, I still don't trust the host.
  15. And I'm tempted to.
  16. BP: I may buy another GTO... someday. Oldsmoboi: Frustrating, isn't it?
  17. Cool pics. I'd like to go back to Montreal sometime.
  18. Why not? It's cheap enough, and you can keep it in Canada that way.
  19. "Sundown you better take care..."
  20. Unless it is truly "gotta have" I won't buy it. No compromises. Homeruns-only triples need not apply. Short of that, it will be old cars for me.
  21. Makes sense as I never saw one of these with the Sunbird snout.
  22. Well, it's no secret that I love Holden's products. I just wish that the right ones would come here. I'd love to see a domestically designed and built lineup of RWD Pontiacs and Chevys, but GM is taking their global nature seriously these days and Holden has the nod for RWD. So, I have no choice but to endorse Holden (badge in NA notwithstanding).
  23. I'm sad to say that I'm all too familiar with that feeling.
