  1. Silverado FTW! :AH-HA_wink:
  2. Thanks K.C.
  3. So beautiful! *sniff* Just warms my heart. :rotflmao: And the captioning? Toyota<------ Dontcha just love poetic justice?
  4. Thanks guys, I really need this to happen. For a bunch of reasons.
  5. Thanks!
  6. The '98 Hawk really has to go, so please point anyone you know that might have an interest to this auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...E:IT&ih=014 Thanks in advance.
  7. ... and that hearings should be held. I say BS to that!
  8. Socialist idiot.
  9. And you find this funny why?
  10. Actually, the thought has crossed my mind a time or two. :AH-HA_wink:
  11. I'm hanging parts on this thing! I have installed the brake proportioning valve, the new stainless brake lines (front), the upper control arms, and some brackets (brake related, etc. I also took the steering column hub apart, prepped and painted the parts, lubed it, and re-assembled it. This is the fun stuff! I'm cleaning/re-conditioning/painting each part as I go, so this may take a bit of time. Pics:
  12. I can only think of three, as I rarely rent. Grand Prix Bonneville Grand Marquis These were all early to mid 90's, haven't rented since.
  13. I hate celery, so I won't buy tuna, egg, or chicken salad if it contains celery
  14. Contracts expire. An all-RWD Pontiac is exactly what I expect within a few years.
  15. Early spin from Toyota. Perhaps September sales will be pretty bad, making it a three-month slide for them. Good.
  16. Sounds like GM got most of what it needs.
  17. Told you it was a stinker. Strike Three!
  18. Thanks, K.C. I just started going through the bags of hardware and planning the re- assembly. Other than reconditioning some stuff, this will be the fun part!
  19. Well done!
  20. Yup! about 5.5 giant sized cans. :AH-HA_wink:
  21. I finally finished dealing with the seam sealer. It turned into a major hassle and a time consumer because it never really reached a "sandable" state of hardness. I tried everything to work it and wore out plenty of sanding discs before I hit on a solution. I finally tried some "Goo Gone" on a rag and it worked like a charm (like liquid sandpaper). After I got that situation under control, I shot another coat of primer over all of the sanded areas and all of the top and inside of the cowl ( no pic of the extra primer coat). Then I went to town with the topcoat at last! I did two heavy coats of semi-gloss black - I think it turned out pretty well. Pics:

    Dead Dime.

Wow YJ, I'm sorry to hear this news. Glad you are ok, though.
  23. I believe the situation really is that extreme - it is do or die time.
  24. Time to read the writing on the wall , UAW!
  25. No, but they just have to present a united front.
