  1. Thanks for the jokes guys, they do help. And PCS, you can call off the militia - I think I'll just empty the fridge of beer instead. It's been in there too long anyway (since July). There are maybe 3 or 4 left and I intend to make that count zero before I call it a night. I'll save the manifesto for another time. Just don't ever suggest that I should buy a FWD sedan like everybody else and I won't have to break out the claws.
  2. I guess I owe some sort of explaination for the post. No, the owners are just a tiny aspect of it all. I am just so freakin' sick of the things I see around me. The foolishness of it all and the dumbing down of individuality and freedom. This least-common-denominator mentality so commonplace in the country these days. And the grinding foot of pointless nastiness everywhere. There are a thousand reasons for my current disaffection, and I guess that they just ganged-up on me today.
  3. Yeah, I wish it was that simple. I've just about reached critical mass with everything I see as so awfully wrong around me. And I've just about had it with people who never do what they say they will - the next one is likely to be vented on.
  4. hmmm A target!
  5. Maybe they can borrow the "make 7-up yours" ad campaign. Stupid, stupid name for a car.
  6. Maybe I am that "angry leopard" I was recently described as.
  7. The sad part is that it was really working (if you know me that's nothing short of a miracle) so if you need it to keep going I'd say to give it a try. But if you have funky vision or weird dreams, don't tell your doctor. :AH-HA_wink:
  8. Lambo does need to hire a new editor and proofreader for their product announcements though. Way crappy job on that.
  9. I agree. But I still don't like it.
  10. I'm not usually a "supercar" fan, but damn that's nice!
  11. I've decided that my first answer was too PC, so... NO! I don't like it. There, I feel better now. :AH-HA_wink:
  12. There, fixed.
  13. Don't go making me doubt myself! unfair! unfair!
  14. Of course Toyota isn't alone, there has never been a single asian model I have ever wanted.
  15. I voted "other" because while I can appreciate the purpose and value of such vehicles, nothing in the segment appeals to me at all. For the most part, I simply hate the "shape" of all of the crossovers - no matter who builds them.
  16. The Zeta Impala will take care of this.
  17. All those models and not a single one I would ever want - amazing. :AH-HA_wink:
  18. ick.
  19. Not if it is built like a Duramax. The problem with diesels is that these same "brilliant" legislators that gave us CAFE have made it very hard to bring diesel cars to market.
  20. You can't be from this part of PA without knowing what scrapple is. :AH-HA_wink: I have to admit, that description makes it less likely that I'll try haggis! As to the plaid, I haven't been able to determine the right pattern for my family.
  21. I may be mostly Scot, but I've never tried haggis nor worn a Kilt. I'd try the haggis...
  22. If pressed, I'd bet that Toyota has half a page of "qualifiers" that allow them to say that they are making money on the Tundra. There is simply no way that they could begin to see a profit on the Tundra this year even if they sold 200k of them at full sticker. The cost of development and building the plants is enough to keep them in the red for quite some time. With their dismal peformance in the market lately it doesn't look good for much of a return on investment.
  23. I tried the wellbutrin thing and it worked pretty well - for a while. I has some odd side-effects which I made the mistake of telling the doctor about. She promptly cut the dosage in half and it stopped working.
  24. Assuming that the Ute gets here, I'll be buying one. Otherwise, it may be quite some time before I get another new vehicle.
  25. Just had another thought - those wires could be for the stereo illumination. If they are, they will only have power if the lights are on.
