  1. Out of ideas? How about getting rid of that astra interior. That soupy-dreck doesn't come close to that of its rivals. Anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.
  2. No way!!! really!?!?!??!??!?!?
  3. I'm not sure where this leather option is that you're concerned about...but in any event Why would leather be standard? First of all, not everybody wants leather. Second of all; look at BMW and MB. 5 series for example, leatherette is standard, the leather by itself is a $1450 option...and that's on a car with a base sticker of $43,000. Stop being so nit-picky, you want a $50,000 vehicle at a $30,000 price tag.
  4. Dont you think you're letting him off a little easy?
  5. Thanks for the pointless thread. At least your post count went up.
  6. Is the GTO not australian-based? I personally never considered it an american product by any stretch of the imagination.
  7. I cannot see anyone paying a premium for this. The DTS on the other hand, the changes are very palpable.
  8. Yes. MUCH better than the changes in the platinum STS
  9. This isnt front page news. It isnt even news.
  10. taking a stab.... Jee Dubya?
  11. am I the only one who loves this thing? haha =/
  12. FOG, are you serious.... These are legitimate gripes. It's a luxury brand, there's no excuse for there to be no blue tooth capability. NONE, so stop backing up GM's shortcomings. And all you can say is "and it'll be here in 7 months, so GET OVER IT!!!!!" except in the meantime other luxury brands have already implemented these features. If you keep making excuses for GM playing catch-up, you're going to get really tired really fast...because that's GM's MO.
  13. In the sense that they're both black?
  14. I saw the new escalade at the philly auto show, and it looked incredible. It was black (which in my opinion is the best color). However, I saw it today on the streets in a tan color, and unfortunately, from the side it looks just like any other GMT-900 SUV. Now...I will say this; the side profiles of all the GMT-900 SUV's are hot!...I was just a bit dissapointed that a escalade could easily get confused from the side with a tahoe, less the engine ports.
  15. last gen 5 series didnt have the screen at all w/o nav...nobody seemed to criticize that. I'd say the escalade is a leap over any other luxury competition in its class, and that warrants that type of price tag, which is relatively competitive.
  16. dunno about the current 5er, but the last generation didnt have standard nav.
  17. oh god how could they compare the enclave to the automotive train wreck known as the R-class
  18. Might just be me, but when I first saw it, it reminded me of the late 80's monte carlo SS.
  19. ugh...I'm sorry; I am a GM fan to the end, but I dont think anyone should get away with using the words 'aztek' and 'attractive' in the same sentence. =( I'm going to have to dissagree. The durango, while quite ugly, is not nearly the embarassment the aztek was. But that's just my opinion, and of course you're entitled to yours...just felt the need to throw in my .02 =) <3
  20. Cant see much...but I like what I see! Looks to be extremely promising.
  21. I think it speaks volumes about a vehicle when you can put it in such a horrible color, and it still looks sexy as hell.
  22. And this speculation is based on spy shots? At least give it a chance to fail lol. Stop counting your chickens before they've hatched sheesh =p Something else I'm curious about is, whether or not people purchasing a vehicle of this price range are really all that concerned with gas prices. *shrug*
