I just saw this.  Beautiful.  I was behind a dark(er) burgundy metallic one yesterday and love how it looks as the turn signals flicker and it pulls away or corners.  This will last you a long time, I'm sure.  I don't feel I'd be tall enough for the current LaCrosse.

I couldn't believe you once bought a Genesis.  I didn't want to say anything.

Who's that neighbor with the Subaru?  They need a talking to.  Wow, Long Island sure looks different from the boroughs of the city.

    Congrats.  Smart man.

Thanks man... I leased the Genesis... very nice car, but it wasn't me.

I think I would go with a 2016 Buick and then install the latest version of the stereo system to get the cellphone connectivity.

The 2016 has Apple Carplay/Android Auto, it was the 2015 and earlier that didn't.

  3. I'm agreeing with the comments... definitely need a better mic on you, background music needs to go down a bit, although your coverage, imagery, pacing, are all spot on for the audience they'd appeal to.  For fun you should have some violins in the background and a bunch of wine glasses filled up with water on the dash and try and recreate a 90's Lexus commercial.

@Paolino Have you looked at the Cadillac XTS? There are some great CPO deals at least around Seattle.

So they're a bit more than I'm willing to spend on a used car.  Single teacher here on Long Island, so I need my money for other things to survive!  Besides... that semi-circle gauge cluster is god awful.  I don't know who approved that.

I think you'd be fine with either of the Buicks, however the '16 feels a bit larger inside than the '18.  I think you'll appreciate the space.

I was thinking that as well... also, it has a few extra features I'd like.  Just wish either car had blind-spot monitoring, but I've driven 25 years without it, so that's not an issue. ;)

  6. I'm 6'3", I like smooth, quiet, large sedans.  I'm not a fan of the Avalon, and I'd like to keep the cost down.  I do like creature comforts on a car.
