I agree, it gets cumbersome say something like CT5-V Blackwing

Just drop the V for the Blackwing trim.... maybe that's what they're doing....

I'm cool with learning yet one more moniker--I'd be okay with just that... CT5 Blackwing, CT6 Blackwing, etc.  You only see "CT#" in one spot on the car... Blackwing (or perhaps some logo) can be on the trunk, seats, dash, when you start it up, engine cover, etc.

GX is short for "lazy marketing department"

But it does tell me they are saving the name Enspire for something else.

What?  Something that looks like the Envison with a color added to its grille and has a cubic milliliter more cargo space?  Silly man, it'd be the Envision GX of course.

Probably didn’t want to spend the coin to come up with another E name.

Enigma, Elephant, Earache... you could literally google e words and choose one ;) Then again it's probably cheaper to mass produce Encore badges and then mass produce a little GX.

Why 3 sedans? Why waste the money?????

Save the money, give us a proper Caddy sedan that is affordable but badass, and maybe throw a wagon in for those who still like those.....

This is still OLD GM think.........

Just because they shut down plants saying no one is buying sedans and the majority want crossovers and SUVs and got rid of two cars I would love to own doesn't mean this is a mis... oh... I see what you mean.

Well, it is a rebadged Mazda..Mazda always has plenty of features available.

But their largest sedan of a "premium" brand should not offer it?  I mean, I keep wondering why GM cars are so poorly equipped at lower trims if other auto makers can offer so much as standard equipment, or even optional on their cheapest vehicles.
