My parents who never comment about cars ever, have often said, "Lexus needs to stop this huge ugly grille thing they're doing." As a matter of fact, I don't know a single person who likes them. Yet they sell.

Interesting... thanks everyone.

I don't think it is possible.
To swap a 2015 radio with a 2016?

Wonder if a 2016 radio could be bought and fit into the 2015? 🤔
That's interesting... I wonder if the dealer would do it. There's a great deal on a low-mileage 2015 LaCrosse leather.

No, the hardware is not backwards compatible apparently. 2016 Is the earliest you can go and get those.
Thanks

I have a quick question and I'm hoping someone can help.
I know for 2016, the Buick LaCrosse got Android Auto/Apple CarPlay
Could a 2015 LaCrosse get an update to utilize Android Auto/Apple CarPlay or is it a different radio altogether?
Thanks!

I'll say this, I haven't been able to get onboard with the tail-light piping.. vertical piping, fine, the (in my opinion, odd) horizontal-into-the-trunklid piping I'm just not liking.

The Car & Driver article implied there would be a higher horsepower 'more' V coming. No idea what they will call it and if it will be a V8 or not.

GX is short for "lazy marketing department"
But it does tell me they are saving the name Enspire for something else.
What? Something that looks like the Envison with a color added to its grille and has a cubic milliliter more cargo space? Silly man, it'd be the Envision GX of course.

Enigma, Elephant, Earache... you could literally google e words and choose one Then again it's probably cheaper to mass produce Encore badges and then mass produce a little GX.
-
I'm confused... Chevy gets this size as a Trailblazer... we get this as the Encore GX? What exactly is the "GX" supposed to mean? Don't answer, I don't care.

Why?
I should have phrased it differently... in the past on a long trip he almost ran out of charge... so it was a concern of his as he was having trouble finding a charging station.

So this is a slight concern of my friend with his Tesla...

Why 3 sedans? Why waste the money?????
Save the money, give us a proper Caddy sedan that is affordable but badass, and maybe throw a wagon in for those who still like those.....
This is still OLD GM think.........
Just because they shut down plants saying no one is buying sedans and the majority want crossovers and SUVs and got rid of two cars I would love to own doesn't mean this is a mis... oh... I see what you mean.

I hope it's the camo, because that front overhang could give a Buick Century a run for its money.

So, what is this considered, an ATS replacement?

This isn't really my "thing" but I do like it a lot. Offer a hybrid or EV to start and I could see it selling a lot.

You'd probably like a Maxima.
I love the look of the Maxima... not sure how I'd like how they drive (suspension), nor would I be amused with a CVT....

I like it... I like Nissan interiors.

Should have been this way from the beginning IMO.

The "chimes" recorded by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra were completely aimed at people like me who love that type of stuff but think no one else does.

The fuel economy is 2 mpg worse on the 1.6T. It makes zero sense.
It might feel torquier at the lower rpms than the 2.5L but I hope they don't force that engine on you at the upper trims because I rather have a non-turbo to deal with that gets slightly better fuel economy.
-
What is the point of the 1.6T? It's about the same power as the 2.5, and I imagine the fuel economy improvements wouldn't be that substantial, soooooo why opt for it? No more powerful engine option is confusing to me.

I know this doesn't really help the discussion much but I've always wondered how to pronounce his last name... coming from a language teacher, it's kinda what I look at first. 😉

Well, it is a rebadged Mazda..Mazda always has plenty of features available.
But their largest sedan of a "premium" brand should not offer it? I mean, I keep wondering why GM cars are so poorly equipped at lower trims if other auto makers can offer so much as standard equipment, or even optional on their cheapest vehicles.

I'm cool with learning yet one more moniker--I'd be okay with just that... CT5 Blackwing, CT6 Blackwing, etc. You only see "CT#" in one spot on the car... Blackwing (or perhaps some logo) can be on the trunk, seats, dash, when you start it up, engine cover, etc.
