  1. H1 was the best of the bunch, the H2 and H3.... YACK!!!!!!
  2. You guys are soooo full of it that it's funny. Judging by all the various posts in this forum of your "friends" with Dodges, I would say ALL your friends drive Dodges. LOL We have a dead stock SRT4 that runs 13.9 all the time at our track, a couple of 13.8s, but almost always 13.9, and strangely he has the original transmission. Races regularly. Too funny. The new SRT4 Caliber is *supposed* to be 300hp, which should make it quicker than a Neon version. I wonder where the sticker price for the Subie came from, my brother-in-law owns one, it sure wasn't under $25K!!!! I gotta show him that link, he'll be pissed! LOL
  3. As far as looks go the hard part is TELLING THEM APART. The HHR is the ugly version of the PTCruiser, and it's biggest "con" is that it came out too many years after the fact. As far as CARS go, the PT gets the nod IMO. I've driven many, they are good little econoboxes. They aren't good luxury cars, but they were never meant to be. The HHR isn't terrible, but it's not astounding- or close, in any area. Both these cars are cheap econoboxes IMO. They are adequate in what they do, with a little style mixed into the equation, and the HHR seems like an "also ran" in that case..?
  4. I can tell. LOL I bet he's a youngster too, a "I can't be wrong" kinda guy, who's rarely right! Hi Sixty8panther!
  5. How many SRT vehicles did you pick? Lemme see.... NONE. Wonder why that is? Is this place a kiddie show? LOL Take a look at BMW's styling of late, it's terrible at best from some angles. Want me to go find the ugliest pics I can, like YOU did?
  6. Yup, or the ..... MUSTANG??? Usually someone will get a hard on for one company or another because of a reason, and try their best to toss insults, but usually it's for a reason. I have a feeling that's what designboy's problem is..? If Ford messed with the GT40's styling it woulda been a tragedy IMO. The original was a winner as far as styling goes.
  7. So when the HHR was said BY THE DESIGNER to be along the lines of the old Chevy Suburban- PLAGARISM. The Ford GT must be on death row... Taking styling cues from the past has been done by all major car companies. Look at BMW's grilles over the years. To say you wannabe a styling/design guy is odd when I read your posts. Are you young?
  8. Do you guys ALL post drunk like this? (I own/like a xxxxx so it's the best!)
  9. Put the HHR beside a PT Cruiser and a "old Suburban" and tell me what it mimics... SS packages on a 2009 Camaro, sure. But an HHR. Not for me! There are cars that can go 14s for the same money.
  10. 1970 Monte Carlo- good looking car! Latest version- looks like a big Hyundai Tiburon. The early 70's was the Monte Carlo's heyday IMO.
  11. A PTCruiser, but worse looking, and "SS" badges on the sides? "Daytona" trucks, "SS" econoboxes, what the heck is wrong with today?
  12. I think you better read the comparison yourself, it's already been done, but the results weren't quite what you claimed....? http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/sedan/...pecs_price.html Take a look at ALL the tests, acceleration, braking, slalom, you name it.
  13. I guess that means you got a hella fat ass then? :AH-HA_wink:
  14. Because you have some kind of "chip on your shoulder", your opinion must trump all others..? My buddy has a Chrysler 300 SRT8, dead stock on stock tires he has run 12.93 @ 107.75 mph at Mission Raceways. I've seen many SRT8 cars very close to 13.00, some under. An SRT4 WILL beat a Subaru for less money, we have a stock SRT4 running very consistent 13.8/13.9 times at our track, and most Subies run mid 14s. Besides, even YOU can't say the SOUND of the horizontal four doesn't make you..... WINCE?
