  1. Well, I'll have an F-350 in two weeks to compare it to. The only other vehicle close to this size that I have to compare it to is my old Avalanche which was incredibly maneuverable for it's size. BTW, this truck is making me really miss my Avalanche.
  2. Well there goes my Train idea. Pelham 123: Ms. Napolitano says that terrorists will keep trying, so ever stricter security standards will be necessary. She said that screening passengers using trains and subways and buses and car pool lanes will be phased in so we can all feel safe. Isn't it kind of sad that fairly soon, an American would be more free to move around the EU than around the U.S.?
  3. It's a bit rough over choppy pavement. You really bounce along over our poor PA roads. It's very difficult to park. Turning radius is huge. Getting it in and out of my driveway is a pain. I've yet to actually get it into a parking space straight... I just get it "good enough" and give up. I doubt I'll get to haul anything with it. I would have to assume that the bed will handle a load as good as any other.
  4. What year is that? 1968? 1978? 1988? 1998? 2008? No, its not an '88 those had square headlights.....
  5. ok but I still think I'm going to take a picture with the truck posed so you can all see that I'm not an idiot.
  6. So what you're saying is: I only want to use 4WD to get out of my driveway.
  7. Gotta get me an article first :
  8. See, I get that... that's why I'm confused how I made that hole.
  9. The three options are 2H, 4H, and 4L other tire was on the same surface. I have a flat parking pad that is gravel, but then I have to climb up a very steep hill on concrete. Nope. I'm going to have to take a picture of my driveway in daylight so you guys can see what happened.
  10. 14.4mpg.... the gauge hasn't budged But it should engage automatically, yes? Why did it dig a hole?

  14. This Just In: 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 Crew Cab 4WD The 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe went back to GM and they swapped in something at the other end of the spectrum, a 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 HD Crewcab 4WD with the Duramax Diesel V8. It already ripped a hole in my driveway. Interactive Review: 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 HD Crewcab 4WD
  15. Interactive Review: 2011 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 Crew Cab 4WD Well the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe went back to GM just before the Thanksgiving holiday. When I got home from work, I found a black, 4-door, GMC Sierra Denali stuffed into my driveway... it just about scared the poor CR-V off the cliff in my back yard. Equipped with the 6.6 liter V8 Duramax, one of the first impressions I got with this truck is how fiercely fast it is for being so huge. GM just refreshed the chassis, engine, and transmission for 2011, but didn't touch the sheet metal or interior. I already know I'm going to ding the interior in places, as some of it isn't even up to GM's new standards for interior quality. The window sticker for this truck rings up at $61,189 after destination charge. I won't be able to get the windows sticker scanned in until I get back into my office on Monday, but if you have any specific equipment questions, I can let you know what it's got in the meantime. Oh, and I'm going to need one of you truck guys to 'splain me about the locking differential. Apparently this truck has it, but it dug a 10 inch deep hole in my driveway when I tried to pull out in 2WD.

I tried to pull out of my driveway with the Sierra Denali. I thought the locking differential would kick in, but instead the truck dug a 10" deep hole in my driveway

  18. Yeah...I might have to create a new probationary group to put people in that will hold them for 200 posts or so and then automatically upgrade them to full member after that point. This was just something I change spur of the moment last night due to a spammer.
  19. it's just priorities in life. I like the action of driving a car, but there are times when the last thing I want to do is drive and I'd rather take a good public transit to get me where I need to go. I hate driving to work, but I love to drive.
  20. Due to some abuse by spammers, you are now no longer able to edit your signature (and thus put links in there) until you have over 200 posts or purchase a premium membership. I will update the member options in a moment. for 99% of you who read this, it won't be an issue for you.
  21. mmmm pie
  22. I would call and complain once they are open tomorrow. You should be able to at least get some spifs out of them for it.
  23. Uh... no.
  24. In case you hadn't noticed, we are a group of UNITED states, of which Mexico is not a member. We are a team. Do you ever route for the home team? Balthazar: CSpec feels that everything in this country should be outsourced to the lowest bidder... and that doing so will make things so cheap that we'll be able to afford them easier (it's his way of saying we're richer) which is good since we'll all be unemployed and collecting a check from the government that was borrowed from the Chinese. CSpec doesn't believe there is ever such a thing as too much outsourcing, or even a tipping point where outsourcing of work could actually cause a cascade effect in the economy. If your job has been outsourced, you can just get another job as a Walmart greater....
  25. So you're saying I'm entitled to Paris Hilton's money even though I was born on the wrong side of the mansion walls? brb, need to make a phone call. I'd like to see immigration throttled dynamically based on employment rate. (but we need a substantially better measure of unemployment than we have today.) Very low unemployment and the door can open wider, high unemployment and the door closes.
