Just to clarify. This doesn't mean that the car has to come back in the exact form that it departed in. A current form of an old canceled car... like in 98's case, a modern, refreshed, RWD Towncar. Or SMK's hypothetical about the XLR. I'm going to keep holding off on what my submission is going to be. I've already chosen it, but I want to see if anyone else picks it. It's also a bit off the wall and out of character for me, so you guys can have fun trying to guess what it is too. Here are some hints: It's a one generation only model. It's generation both started and ended within the 10 year time frame restriction. It did not receive a direct replacement, but it's effective replacement was introduced 3 years after my chosen model was, mocked the moment we heard the name, and subsequently died an even faster death in the same model year as my chosen model. I picked this one not because I would ever buy one, but because I feel it's cancellation left a hole in that brand's lineup, and that it was a generally well respected vehicle when it was killed. It's reintroduction would greatly help the brand.

Top 10 recently canceled vehicles that should be brought back. We're going to get a poll going on this, but first we need some candidate submissions. Here are the rules: Each person can submit ONE vehicle (or vehicle model line if there are multiple body styles) It has to be from a brand that is still in business today (it can't be brought back if there aren't dealers to sell it at) It must be from within the past 10 model years. Include your submission and an explanation of why you think it should be brought back and why it should not have been canceled in the first place. I got this idea after seeing three in a row of a vehicle that will likely be my submission.... and you guys will probably be surprised as to what it is. On Thursday night, I'll gather up all the submissions and we'll take a poll for the top 10.

Understanding the 2012 Buick LaCrosse with eAssist System
Drew Dowdell replied to Z-06's topic in Powertrain
The Lacrosse has automatic climate control. The heat will kick on automatically once the engine has started giving off heat. -
heh, my next two test vehicles are the F-350 and Fiesta....

Well duh! What else would you cover them with? Corinthian leather would get ruined in the first rain.

The Half-a-Hornet actually did the best I think.

2011 Kia Optima EX interior impression

That Optima is going to cause a lot of tense meetings in a lot of other manufacturer's board rooms. -

I wouldn't say it's the best one they've done (that would be the Jeep Grand Cherokee or Charger), but I think this is the one that will be the most significant to Dodge simply because it will reach the most people. The Journey, even with the old interior, was one of Chrysler Co's best selling vehicles that wasn't a Caravan. This new interior and the new V6 will make it a hit in the market if they get out there and market it.

...about time

That will certainly make the Journey an even easier sell

November 2010 Sales: Nissan/Infiniti
Drew Dowdell replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in 2010 Sales Archive
You think that Nissan is doing great until you see that Hyundai/Kia surpassed them in sales about 3 months ago and they don't even have a full on luxury division yet, but the Genesis is already outselling the M three to one. -
November 2010 sales: General Motors
Drew Dowdell replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in 2010 Sales Archive
What hole did the Travers, Acadia, and Enclave come out of? 41%, 43%, and 25% going into their 5th year on the market? 19,305 this year verse 13,987 last year combined. -
November 2010 Sales: Volkwagen Group of America
Drew Dowdell replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in 2010 Sales Archive
It's going to be hard to become the biggest car company in the world when you're right behind Subaru in monthly U.S. sales. -
I don't get this line: You were the first to put a memo in your report about it? cause other folks have been selling 40mpg cars for a lil while now.
