The main reason to not be Registered independent is for the Primaries in closed primary States.

I'm tired of people telling me to calm down and that everything will be fine. The people who have no problem voting for Trump also likely have nothing to fear from Trump and his supporters. The hate crimes have already started, some less than 50 miles from my house. I fear my right to get married will be taken away, so I'm rushing into getting married this coming week. I've never owned a gun nor had the desire to, but now my friends and myself will all be going out get getting whatever lessons and licenses we need to carry. We're organizing it as an LGBT self protection thing. 20 million people will likely be losing their health insurance. But sure... if you're an old white straight dude who has company sponsored health insurance.... you'll probably be doing just fine. Enjoy the $50 you might get back on your taxes. Try telling me again...

But it's what people want... Here's the deal though... I'm wondering if it will be a fad that wears off after a generation or two. I'm 3 years into my Encore, it is a great little car, but even just a year into it we started realizing that we might have downsized too far. We're absolutely moving up in size when it comes time for a replacement, though if I get the truck I want, the Encore may be replaced with a mid-size sedan instead.

The possible move to Germany has been in the cards for years. The disaster of last night moved the timetable up substantially. For immigration purposes, Germany recognizes foreign same sex marriages. Albert is getting his Italian citizenship, so we'll both be able to legally live and work in Germany.

If I buy a car, and it's unlikely, I'd probably get an Alfa 159 wagon. But where I'll be living (that part is already arranged) I can get by on public transit quite easily.

I plan on not being in this country anymore. Over the next few weeks, I will be interviewing various property management companies to take over my rental business so I can still have an income from them.

You made an assertion without evidence. Back it the fuck up. Trump is on record for saying he would reverse marriage rights. "I just don't feel good about it," Trump said. "I don't feel right about it. I'm against it, and I take a lot of heat because I come from New York. You know, for New York it's like, how can you be against gay marriage? But I'm opposed to gay marriage." And, last year Trump said in an interview on CNN that he supported ‘traditional marriage.’ Trump also suggested in at least one interview that he would consider appointing Supreme Court justices who would support reversing the ruling. That's called backing up your assertion.
