  1. I looked at it and thought "God, that looks an awful lot like the current LX470." Not to mention I was quite taken aback by the notion of Toyota putting its new 5.7L V8 in the Highlander-based RX.
  2. They didn't do enough with it, IMO. Rear looks outdated, front is too much like the old. The interior is, well, typical Lexus. Well-designed, exudes quality and fantastic fit'n'finish.
  3. Hey Chris, I think thats the LX570, not the RX570.
  4. Here is one small bit of good news: The Tundra, at current sales rate. will not make Toyota's projection for the year.
  5. I think I should drive downtown just to flip off the UAW reps.
  6. DO IT! I'd gladly pay $1000 for a diesel option.
  7. $166 isn't too f@#kin bad for a sweet set of halo's with LED turn signals.
  8. That kicks ass!
  9. ^^^^ I saw the pictures of his over there, they look bad ass at night. How much are those?
  10. You're a very strange little man. :AH-HA_wink:
  11. ONE executive can make or break a company with decisions. A handful of employees cannot.
  12. Nothing wrong with that. Shoot, probably save you 50-75 lbs (don't know how much the hood weighs) and a few tenths off your speed trap times. I just don't like the giant wing. Too much.
  13. I keep forgetting how awesome looking the SS/SC is. Have you thought about the lip spoiler from RK Sport? I've seen it on a few user's cars at CobaltSS.Net and it looks really nice. If I got a SS/SC, even if I didn't get the lip spoiler, I'd yank that wing off there and see if I could find someone that would swap it for a regular one. Though a few guys over at CobaltSS.net have no spoiler at all and it doesn't look half bad.
  14. Wow... However, despite the absolutely HORRID design, the upper dash area appears to be covered in cloth. Kinda funny...
  15. Circuit City will probably end up going out of business or getting bought by another company, maybe even Best Buy. The same thing is happening at CompUSA. They closed 126 stores, closed their custom home installation division (which I worked for), and laid for a few thousand employees including myself, coworkers and boss. Why? Pretty much because Best Buy is running them out of business.
  16. No one with any kind of intelligence and skill usually is pushing something down an assembly line.
  17. There's absolutely no reason to spend more money on this than on a CTS in 2008. CTS looks better, nearly as roomy, better interior, and probably performs better. Why wasn't more done with it?
  18. I have a hard time believing that every time I hear of them threatening picket lines every time their pay or benefits comes into question. Something tells they're pretty well off relatively speaking or they'd just up roots and work where they would get better pay.
  19. The funny thing about the UAW is that they probable KNOW they have it better than they deserve and that they'd never get the same kind of pay from anywhere else they were qualified to work. And so, faced with a company demanding concessions because its had all the blood squeezed out of the proverbial turnip, they're pissed and scared because they KNOW that its either give a little or lose it all.
  20. Ooooh, I bet. I like Infiniti's interior designs of late.
  21. I like it, actually. Though it slightly resembles the RDX from the A-pillar back.
  22. Its the mindset of socialists. They believe the world (or government or company) owes them everything, even if they haven't earned it. They all have a sense of self-entitlement and if you believe otherwise, you're a scab or some other derogatory nomenclature. That you're less of a person because you're not out there demanding something that you don't really deserve. Better pay! Free healthcare! Free retirement! For what? Pushing a car down an assembly line and tightening some bolts?
  23. Thats what needs to be done.
  24. Hopefully GM will flip them the finger and tell them where they can go rot.
  25. ...but what the hell is going on with the Colorado and Canyon? In current form, they're a joke. Anyone know if there's a planned MCE for 2009? And will they get a next gen replacement? I see enough Dakotas, Tacomas, and Frontiers running around to know the market is there and GM sure is flopping in it.
