  1. the interior is something I'd expect from Scion or Nissan, but Saturn? .... Nice Work GM, I applaud good work, and frown down on half-ass look's. But wow, that exterior... that’s what I really like. What happened to the Aura? I haven't been in the forums that much right before C&G went down, and right after it... incase one of you posted info on that car and I missed it... eh, I'll go and check the Saturn forums.
  2. What I want from GM is damm good looking vehicle for once. Inside and out. I'm tired of this half-ass bull that they pump out every year just for the competition to leave them in the dust the following year... No, the Quest is not a good example, rather look at what most consider to be good looking interiors today, from luxery car's/SUV's to Ford's F-series interior's, and build upon that, taking styling cues from there. There is a smooth flow in the design of the interior of the F150, the Durrango, the Titan/Armada, all the peices seem to "fit" together in harmony with another, no, not this Tahoe. Re-examine the Armada/Durrango pictures or look at the F-150 King Ranch to see my point. Makes the Chevy look Cheeasy and tacky. It's an Okay interior, nothing groundbreaking, I've seen worst. However, it's not something to give praise to, and comparing it to just pure "shit" (the old interiors) shouldn't be used as an excuse anymore, (not that you did, for anyone else who's reading this post). I'll give the interior of this Tahoe an overall: C+ Same as I gave it before. Sadly, for such a huge redesign, it is not the standard, and probably never will be until a mid-life refreshment. I will wait for the debut of the Yukon. Until then, I have nothing more to say. ps, .... my opinion.
  3. I don't think the Chevrolet stand's out that much farther then the rest, if it does at all. The center console look's tacky sticking out like that. And that plastic that wraps around it and the wood does not belong there. The Expedition doesn't look as good as this (opinion), matter of fact, even with all that leather cover up, it still look's horrible, but if the durrango came in these colors, it would look just as good. The Armada doesn't have a bad looking interior either, it look's smart and sophisticated.(opinion). and yes, again, I do recognize that there's more to the Tahoe to love, as I've said countless times in my post's before, the reason why my dad's going to buy a suburban is because of the average fuel economy of 20.5, however I do not feel that it's the best that it could have been. Either that, or it's just the colors they choose, or the layout of the dash and the console or the wood or that black plastic crap beneith the aluminem accented A/C covers, or something. The Steering wheel and the interior tan color is the only thing I would consider highlighting about this interior. plus, ... do you people think that this will be the interior standard on all the models...? Or just the LT 1, 2, 3, and LTZ....
  4. ... hmm, well, looking at the Tahoe's interior, quality aside, tell me new elements presented in the Tahoe that shatter interior design thinking... The center console doesn't look any better then anything Ford has out right now... No one was "Blown out of the water"...., All Chevrolet did was join the competition with this interior(The one presented, Which I think will be Chevy's top of the line model...). I hate to sound so bitter about the interior, but I don't think it's one of the highlight's of this vehicle. I give ton's of kudos to this new Tahoe, it's everything I could ever want in an SUV, and I don't think my opinion on the interior out-wieghts the tremondous leap Chevy has taken with this product. For that I'm happy for GM, and I hope that maybe the Yukon Denalli's or the Escalade interior will "wow" me.
  5. Well yea, I'm gonna agree, the Tahoe is a quality and very much refined product, so although it may not have anything new in it's interior, there's more about it to love, and because of this solid product we have here, .... I would laugh if anything was ranked above it by Motor Trend, C&D, Road and Track, AutoWeek, and Automobile.
  6. hm, well, a quality interior or not, Ford's F-150 interior is still ahead of this. This Tahoe introduces nothing new, as far as interior design and layout goes, I could see something like this in a Buick SUV, or even a Saab SUV, because despite being under par in many areas such as creativity, it's still a huge leap forward for Chevy as a brand.... I've never seen nothing this nice with a chevy badge on it unless it was a concept, so I guess that's moving forward... However, beware... if there's one thing Chevy didn't do... it would be the fact that it's interior are now just competitive, and doesn't exactly "Blow Anyone Out Of The Water" .... besides, that's probably a top of the line Tahoe their showing, the standard one probably doesn't look as good. The 2007 Everest doesn't look like anything we haven't seen from Ford, but the layout still look's newer then this interior. (Opinion)
  7. Exterior Design: B+ Interior Design: C+ Powertrain: A I'd rate the new Tahoe a solid: B+
  8. I think Mercury should get one of these....
  9. the thing that bother's me the most is the front end, and the back end, the side profile look's good, but the front end look's retarded, and so does the back end.
  10. That thing look's sweet!!! I wish Mercury had something like this... B)
  11. I would love to have this car come to the states. It's beautiful from every angle, and I see the SAV concept in this. Great job Ford, .... now if only you would bring this to the states .... .... .... lol.
