  2. Holden Commodore, Ute and Crewman SSZ Text & Photos courtesy of General Motors Corporation 09-15-2005 Extra temptation for Holden's performance heroes Holden’s SS model performance heroes will deliver extra temptation in SSZ special editions to be released on Commodore, Ute and Crewman. The SSZ packs provide up to $6,300 in extra performance specifications, interior and exterior features being demanded by typical SS customers. Holden Marketing Director, John Elsworth, said premium performance brakes and standard leather seats topped the list of extras for people wanting the long-standing leader of Holden’s sports range. “SS has long been Holden’s performance king and our SSZ editions make the cars even more tempting,” Mr Elsworth said. “The SSZ models have been designed to include the most appealing features to sports model enthusiasts. “We also wanted to extend the concept across the three body styles because the SS models have been such fantastic winners in Ute and Crewman as well as the sedan. “Similarly, we will offer the packs on all the usual SS colors to maximise buyer choice.” In addition to the usual SS specifications, the SSZ sedan features leather seats with SSZ logo, premium performance brakes, color-coded SSZ instrument cluster, black centre-mounted oil and volt meters, 18-inch VZ Monaro wheels, Rear Park Assist and Bluetooth. Recommended retail pricing of $49,990 (excluding dealer delivery and government charges) delivers $6,300 of extra value. A total of 930 will initially be produced. SSZ Ute features leather seats with SSZ logo, premium performance brakes, color-coded SSZ instrument cluster, black centre-mounted oil and volt meters, 18-inch Monaro wheels and color-coded hard tonneau cover with twin aero forms. The aero forms were inspired by the Utester concept vehicle released in 2001. Recommended retail pricing of $40,940 (excluding dealer delivery and government charges) delivers $6250 of extra value. A total of 1200 will initially be produced. SSZ Crewman features leather seats with SSZ logo, premium performance brakes on the front wheels, color-coded SSZ instrument cluster, black centre-mounted oil and volt meters and color-coded hard tonneau cover. Recommended retail pricing of $47,190 (excluding dealer delivery and government charges) delivers $5,250 of extra value. A total of 750 will initially be produced. The SSZ sedan, Ute and Crewman will go on sale in early October
  3. I love those Rivs, so it can be 'exotic'.
  4. Initial plans are to produce the following: >Sedan: 930 units >Ute: 1200 units >Crewman: 750 units
  5. I think this car is very color sensitive....white is not a good one on it...it looks very hot in black.
  6. I could look at this concept all day any day and even if it was 10 years late. I love it. This is what the G6 should have been... a missed opportunity.
  7. But notice how the sill carries through onto the fender lip on the Aura....that is what makes it look so good.
  8. That interior is better than the LaCrosse/Allure. Buick is status in China. It isn't here.
  9. I have always liked the Olds Achieva, here is a '92:
  10. He has a wheel between his legs?...where?!.....that ain't no wheel lol.
  11. Thanks for that concept, not seen much.
  12. It has a definite Opel look to it. What year was it?
  13. Aug/05: Carmel, California, the astounding McLaren:
  14. I beg, I plead, GM never do aother 4cyl Buick in North America ever. I will march in the streets with a placard protesting it if you do. If I had my way, even sixes would be banished from Buick.
  15. Sept/05: Ferrari Modena spotted in Oakville, Ontario, Canada Sept/05: Maserati Quattroporte seen in Oakville as well:
  16. Sept/05: As seen in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, the Mercedes SLR: Aug/05: Ferarri F430 caught in Montreal, Quebec, Canada:
  17. Man, I just started looking at this car and it hit me....this is how a modern Pontiac GTO should look like!
  18. Love this car, the 2006 Fisker Latigo CS:
  19. Another great reason to aspire to be rich.
  20. yes, you may be right...didn't think of that.
  21. I stumbled upon this '37 Delage and don't think I had seen it before. A simply awesome design from that era. Whatever happened to incredible French design?!
  22. It really shows the diffences in perceptions of Buick in China. They see this as a prestige car. It's like Buick used to be here years ago.
  23. Probably a euro-spec model.
  24. It looks like that last generation GM vans with some revisions to front, rear and interior.
  25. The interior on the GL8 looks very close to the Terraza. The exterior looks way better and more upscale than the Terraza.
