  1. Some say the Storm is the result of the iphone and Blackberry Bold making love.
  2. Loki, you freakin bastard!.....your posting got me thinking, so I do some research on the Blackberry Storm. Well, I find out that now I want one! Check out this little video: http://eu.blackberry.com/eng/devices/black...avId=H0,C381,S7 The music alone will make you want one.
  3. I'm always looking to add to my DVD collection. I've never seen Blue Velvet. Would you say this is worthy of permanent collection? If so, I'm getting it.
  4. I have a feeling I'd become addicted to a Blackberry. It's almost better I don't know anything about them.
  5. Dollywood
  6. Ok...understood....but what is it about devices like the Blackberry that helps you get things dones away from the office?....I'm not being smartass....I honestly want to know. I don't know alot about Blackberry and it's features. My workday tends to begin and end at the office.

  9. Ok, being the Blackberry is a Canadian invention, you'd think I would have one. But, I have to ask, please tell me why it is so addicting....break it down, item by item. I honestly want to know....so I can become addicted too. Maybe I don't know what I'm missing. My nature is one of liking to be away from work in my personal life. I don't like being in contact that much. I'm so happy just being not contacted alot of the time. Maybe I'm behind the times. Maybe I need a Blackberry.
  10. Great story XP....hehe...I love the 'forest' of trees hanging...have seen that so many times....and sometimes with conflicting scents.
  11. The Pornographers
  12. Hillarious.
  13. I think we just narrowly averted another depression. And it's not over yet. I don't think most people realize how serious this all is.
  14. You actually made me laugh out loud...and I'm alone. Yep, I see about the same number of sales in Saabs crossover future.
  15. What air freshener device do you use, if any? And what unusual ones have you seen marketed? I saw a 'pine tree' with leather scent. Growing up, I remember our car usually had this little hanging wicker basket with a point at the bottom and a tassel. When you opened the lid, you would find lavender seeds inside. It was quite pleasant to the nose. Can there be a more iconic freshener than the 'tree'?

  17. Fair enough, haven't heard what's happening with it there. The city I live in is jam-packed with premium, hi-end cars and suvs....and many Smart cars, very popular here...and this in the oil capital of Canada. They seem to appeal to all genders and ages and income levels, much like the Beetle did. The Mini is like that too.
  18. The Beetle and Jeep weren't stellar designs either. But they had that 'thing'. And I believe the Smart does have a future. It's sales worldwide are beyond projections. Here in Canada they have sold exceptionally well. And Toyota is poised to introduce a similar vehicle soon.
  19. Hey, there's another side to my car lust....at times, my pragmatic side emerges and want a simple vehicle like the early VW Beetle. The earlier Jeeps. Pure and elemental. Maybe the Smart car is the new Beetle? I'm more on guard with the Toyota Priuses of the world...just does nothing for me. I gag just a bit.

  23. I agree. If there is one single individual to blame at GM it was Roger Smith. He almost singlehandedly destroyed a great American company. That with other realities have cinched the deal. The events of today have slowly been coming. The great products at the current GM were are too late to save it. Crazy times we are in. Just think, there are those that are so happy with GMs problems. Can you imagine Ralph Nader's elation?!
  24. blu...is there anyway you could post that photo of you and the Pontiac?..would love to see that. interesting that you could see that happening to GM eventually... lets see, what will be left?....Chevrolet, Cadillac, Ford and Jeep?
  25. I still believe in car lust and don't see them as mere appliances. I don't want to be reduced to driving drab, socialist, state designed transportation devices. Beautiful objects will always have a market.
