The 2007 Chevy Tahoe Street Tuner demonstrates what can be done with carefully selected Chevrolet Accessories that transform a vehicle into a contemporary, custom-look street machine. It features 22-inch wheels that accentuate the custom paint work and ground effects, which include new front and rear fascias and rocker panels. The interior features a host of Chevrolet Accessories, including a carbon fiber trim kit, premium carpet floor mats, second-row console, headrest-mounted DVD screens and a ceiling-mounted portable overhead DVD system with a 10-inch screen. The Tahoe Street Tuner also has been lowered and fitted with a Chevy Accessories cat-back exhaust system, which adds an aural punch to the Street Tuner’s visual appeal. Most of the upgrades are available now from Chevy Accessories, with others coming soon or still in the concept stage.

:puke: Damn what is up with GM and all this god awful Chrome crap! :(

Ugly Rims and Chrome $h! everywere. I loved the old escalade and now all GM can do is turn everything into PIMP my Ass ride! :(

If Lutz was really in charge, he would never have allowed Caddy to Chrome to hell the new escalade. A up scale luxury ride is elegant and stated, you leave it to the end user if they want to put a ton of chrome on a ride not pimp it out and now they are doing it at SEMA. Not every person wants to drive a Chromed, pimp out gangsta rapper crap mobile. :(

i think they went a little overboard with the chrome. especially by the fog lights but overall its pretty hard to mess up the new tahoes. most of the ones ive seen so far had some "special" touches added, wheels-rims-tint, etc. and were tasteful. the black ones really stand out in the good way when done right. i think that second pic of the side would look outstanding if you pulled up next to it at a light, but the front is a little overkill.

a lot of info was gathered directly from rappers and other bling blingers---nfl, baseball, athletes in general to inspire the new escalade.

i remember hearing about these special focus groups a while back. wheel size was critical--the shoes, son, chrome ...etc etc. the idea was/is to keep it as much a pop culture icon as they could and that meant listening to a host of ideas from a whole sordid variety i suppose. it works to an extent because its tremendous reference and known throughout the world.

so basically the new cadillac is the end result of what the focus groups said it needed to be in order to maintain. go figure. wonder who they were listening to before?

another thing, i think the SEMA designs always go over the edge and rarely is there something 100% tasteful or perfect. i think its done somewhat purposeful so not only does it stand out it allows you to see what really works and what

doesnt.
