FrostWire vs. LimeWire

I just read up on FrostWire (a P2P program that is based on LimeWire) and I like the features. It sounds like a nice way to reach out and grab some bootlegs and get into some bands I've been meaning to listen to. I also like the fact that, in addition to that fact Frost wire offers what LW Basic offers, you get some of LW's premium features as well.

I just got to know one thing: is the program clean and, if not, is there a way to clean it up. I don't want to do system restore twice a month.

If you know anything, drop a line here. Thanks. 8)

You know...if you want Limewire Pro, you can always download it through Limewire...

Clearly they didn't think that one through. :P

I decided to give Frostwire a try...interesting how other sites make you pay for it execpt the official one, although the sneaky bastards want you to make a donation and hide the No option. I found it though :P Let's see how it works...

Yeah, I didn't donate either.

I'm getting some pretty fast downloads using dial-up. It's taken me a half-hour or so to grab a 19MB file. Not bad.
