99 Alero Fog Light wire harness

Featured Replies

Before the winter my drivers side fog light kept cutting out and and after I've replaced bulb after bulb I finally looked at the harness and come to find out the plug was rusted over and wet. Even after lightly sanding off the rust (that I could) and drying it out, I'm still loosing bulbs. Anyone know the part# for gmpartsdirect.com for this particular part? I've tried looking on there and can't find it so I'm not even sure what the proper name is.

Also, anyone know where the wire leads up to before I go under my car and attempt to trace it back?

Thanks in advance.

Well, it could just be that the pigtail (socket and wiring right there at the foglamp) could need to be replaced, instead of doing a major rewire. I'd check around at your local auto parts stores and see if they have a pigtail for the foglamp assembly and go from there.
