Subaru Reports July Sales

-- Subaru Tribeca Sales Up --

CHERRY HILL, N.J., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Subaru of America, Inc. today

reported July sales of 15,438 total units. Sales of the redesigned 2008

Subaru Tribeca were up as the new models began arriving in dealer showrooms

across the country.

Subaru Tribeca sales in July were up four percent over the same period

last year totaling 1,680 units. Subaru Legacy recorded 6,322 unit sales,

while the Outback accounted for 4,338 units of that line for the month.

Subaru Forester recorded a July total of 3,678 units, while the Subaru

Impreza line posted 3,713 units for the month. The discontinued Subaru Baja

also recorded 45 units in July.
