Following in the tracks of last year’s Sierra All-Terrain concept and designed to complement the lifestyle of mountain climbing enthusiasts is the Yukon All-Terrain concept. It builds on the truck’s design with enhanced features and elements, including a unique, multifaceted roof-mounted cargo system that offers numerous large-capacity storage options. Also, grippy 22-inch (P305/45R22) all-terrain tires provide excellent off-road capability.

Vehicle highlights:
• Yukon All-Terrain concept
• Custom four-bar All-Terrain grille
• Twenty-two-inch all-terrain tires
• Stealth Gray exterior color
Custom two-tone interior
Satin nickel exterior accents (door handles, mirror caps, running boards, side molding accents and fuel filler door)
• Custom machined-pattern trim pieces
• Custom leather headliner

GM Accessories features (production and concept):
• Concept roof cargo management/storage box system
• Wheel flares
• Six-inch satin nickel oval assist steps with molded step pads
• Satin nickel tow hooks
• Portable overhead DVD system
• Bi-directional remote start
• Trailer hitch close-out cover
• Twenty-inch satin nickel-finish wheels
• Satin nickel exhaust outlet

My FAVORITE producable show vehicle so far!

This looks excellent! The new grille really serves to toughen up the nose of the Yukon.

I think the extended fender flares make it look more compact as well, when combined with the larger wheels.

Two thumbs up, GM!

LOVE the wheels. The wheel flares would be a nice option as well. The roof rack is rediculous though, and the Yukon front end still really sucks.

I totally agree with you on this one! :D

Which is it going to be, GMTruckGuy...this or the Sierra AT?

Sierra All-Terrain, hands down. While I like the new Yukon, I'm not 100% crazy about it due to the too soft front-end design. And while I like my Envoy, I'd much rather have a pickup. If I went with another SUV, after the initial "newness" wears off I'd still be wishing I got a pickup truck instead (the exception would be an Yukon XL - don't ask me why though!).

I will say that I'm disppointed with GMC for not putting the Sierra's front clip on this Yukon concept, much like Chevy put the Silverado's front clip on the Suburban Z71 Diesel concept. If that was done, I'd probably be more interested in this SUV.

I love it! That is great work Ted! Thanks GMTG. I think that came out before I started posting.

I stopped by my local GMC dealership last night to take a quick look to see if they got anything new in. They had a leftover 2007 Yukon SLT-2 with a special edition package (factory), that includes polished 20" rims, chrome door handles, chrome mirror caps, and chrome "GMC" exhaust tip. It was a loaded up Yukon and other than the color (Sport Red Metallic), I was impressed. That is until I walked around to the front. If it had the Sierra's clip like Ted's photochop, I'd be more inclined to really like it.

GMC needs to do something with the Yukon/Yukon XL front-end design. I understand GM wants the SUVs and pickups to be different externally, but the face just doesn't work. And the SEMA Yukon All-Terrain concept using the Yukon Hybrid's 4-bar grille doesn't make much of a difference to me. Keep the Chevy SUVs and pickups different because those designs work, but I think GMC should put the Sierra design on the Yukon lineup. Or to be different a little, redesign the headlights for the SUVs like in this other !!!TED!!! photochop:
