interesting.. why doesn't ford bring these cars over here?!
The primary reason is because they were never engineered to make it easy to produce a LHD model. Ford has also decided that their wonderful Australia only 4 litre DOHC inline 6 will be abandoned in favour of a global Ford V6 engine.

Well since it has worse NVH (on the turbo model) and won't meet the upcoming tighter emissions I would say there is a reason it is going away.
