Some news bits are trickling in about a couple of future tri-sheilds. Firstly, Autoblog has spilled some of the beans on the next-gen LaCrosse. Engine options will include a 290hp version of the Direct Injection 3.6L V6 and an all-new 3.0L DI V6 that should be good for 240hp and around 30mpg. Other options certain to make their way into the LaCrosse include HID headlamps, a heads-up display, rear view camera and all-wheel-drive. Secondly, GM appears to be putting the finishing touches on the Opel Insignia-based Buick Regal. Thoigh it's not slated to come to the US, the Regal certainly does look the part of the LaCrosse's half-brother, and should do well in the Chinese marketplace.

Camaro Order Update
~October 28, 2008~

Despite high gas prices, a terrible economy, and a giant axe hanging over its head, the Camaro proves that sometimes, just building a fantastic no compromises car is enough. As of this writing, some 6,000 Camaros have been sold, and a whopping 84% of buyers are opting for the SS V8. Not bad at all considering the circumstances. Naturally, we at C&G are pulling hard for the Camaro, that it proves that sometimes, swimming against the tide is the thing to do.
