Light weight? Zenith carbs? Around 500 built? My only half-educated guess is some sort of Cunningham, maybe?

It was built during, as your great-grandfather might say, "the BIG ONE!"

It was short-lived and a power plant of its type, at an affordable price

was introduced 15 years later by a rival manufacturer, only to go

unchallenged for 23 MORE years by the original manufacturer.
