NAIAS 2009

Despite the doom and gloom the auto industry is facing, the North American Internatinal Auto Show has seen quite a turnout and even a few surprises.

GM came out swinging with the production LaCrosse, Equinox, SRX, and Spark. It also surprised us all with the Converj concept, the drop dead gorgeous Cadillac version of the Volt as well as showing the Orlando concept.

Other debuts worthy of mention are Ford's redesigned Taurus which is shaping up to be a class leader, and Chrysler 200C concept which may, and hopefully, signal a new direction for the company's replacement for the mediocre Sebring.
