GM plans to double sales in Japan by 2011.

If you think GM's sales have been on the decline in the US, it's even worse over in Japan. This year saw sales decline to a mere 2,000 units, down from 50,000 in 1996. GM plans to address the issue and aims for a modest increase of 2,000 units for by 2011.
