This makes sense as he owns a Dodge/Chrysler dealer in southern california..... he supplies all the give aways from the pentastar on the Price is Right.
Both of them are perfect for hauling big wedges of cheese. It's amazing what people settled for in those days. Still, I can confidently say a larger percentage of these are still on the road than any Japanese pickup of that vintage.

Yeahright, I want to be just like Don Knotts and drive a Dude! (Whoa, that sounded funny.)

One cool thing... the Dodge has a bullseye grille, just like all newer Dodges.

I'd love to own one jus for the entertainment value. It would be worht buying the truck just for the conversation at the registry. Lady looks at the title/registration and goes: Serious;y, enough joking around... where's the REAL paperwork. That is the real paperwork. "Dodge Dude"??? Yes, that's correct.
318 or 383 and Torqueflite, baybee... tough as freakin' nails! :)

Ha! I've seen that before. Hilarious ad!

Oh, if that truck could talk.

New Dodge Ram: Your "the Dude"?
The Dude: Yeah, I'm the Dude, man. You can call me the Dudester, the Dude Guy, the Dude Dude, the Dude Man, but never the Dude-ette.
