A bit of good news at year end

Recommended Posts

"GM, Ford and Chrysler should see combined market share surge in December compared to dismal performances in recent months, consumer research firm Edmunds.com predicts. Collectively, the trio is expected to win nearly 58% of the market, compared to 53% in November and an all-time low 52% in October. "

"Edmunds.com auto analyst Jesse Toprak said renewed demand for SUVs came from falling gas prices and the kind of icy road conditions that inspire a demand for four-wheel-drive vehicles. SUV sales and nationally advertised incentives as large as $4,500 could help GM."

Lowered gas prices, consumers' demand for 4X4 to combat winter weather, combined with good reviews in media, the timing is good for GMT-900 launch.

Finally some good news. Looks like the GMT-900s will actually launch at a good time.
