OK I'm in traffic yesterday in Ocean City, MD. It's like 3 lanes wide. Summertime, everybody's there to have a ball. Pull up to a red light and this PERSON in the truck next to me has a song blaring. Here's a snippet:

"Smokin' cigarettes and watchin' Captain

Kangaroo

Now don't tell me

There's nothin'

To do..."

Please help me uncover the mystery! What is the name of this song?

That's the original version ... and usually (imho) the original version is the best.

HOWEVER ... Eric Heatherly had his own version of this song ~2000. I first heard it on the radio when I was driving from Jackson TN to Nashville TN....go figure:

Cort | 36.m.IL | 5 Monte Carlos.1 Caprice Classic | pig valve.pacemaker * NoreastrTrekRT=Aug2010 *

"It's hard to slow this swinger down" ... Eric Heatherly ... 'Flowers On The Wall'
