  1. Pissed right now... The gage cluster in my Cavalier went on the blink last week, and is completely dead now. Hope I do not need to see how fast I am going, or know how much gas I need...Worse part that burns my behind is that the cluster had a 100% fail rate for all late 2003, 2004, and most 2005 models. Why there is no recall is beyond me. Funny part is that there are no new ones to buy either...GM had most of them trashed..... Surprised me a bit just based on the fact that the car had less than 25k (stored project car ). I really want to do it myself, but the plastic is so damn cheap I’m afraid I will break the dash.... I’m sure someone will tell me that it is a 90s piece of trash and to burn it soon....but hey-I always had a soft spot for Cavaliers, for good reason.... Thanks for listening to my rant.......
  2. And I thought they dumped it years ago! Good to know...
  3. Nope, It's dead- coming quite soon..... Think this could be the shot in the arm that the sedan market needs to keep going...maybe even grow. People want the year round safety....and may not want to spend 50k to do it. And they wonder why Subies sell so well.... Another car that would benefit from AWD - Ford Fusion. OH wait, that's gone too......
  4. Very good idea. Why pour money heavy into a newer sedan, when a well updated one will do. People will be looking for cost savings, and offering some value will get folks in the door and start earning the public’s trust again. Don’t see why this can’t be done at GM or Ford.....
  5. Yeah, it looks like things will get interesting, that is for sure. I’m hoping everyone here will be in good shape and as happy as they can be in a looming recession... Job wise I’m in pretty good shape now- it’s always nice to know your bosses really need you.. Still even dabbing a bit in the old job while my one issue is still at home MIL is freshly divorced, and trying to get back on her feet. Though she might drive us nuts first!!
  6. Curious to see that guide... Here comes the snowstorm/polar vortex......
  7. Cheaper than a home is a good start.....
  8. BULLS**T. Half of those brands will be gone in a few years.....heck, FCA could barely run itself.....AND add a bunch or odd brands? Ummm...no.
  9. Yeah, the delay might pissed the ten people who are waiting for it... Pretty sure it mighty work to their favor to iron out any lat minute issues ...plus it will be a shorter 2020 run. Feel like I’m the somewhat youngest in this crowd....
  10. Yep, true points... Just hope they can figure it out.....
  11. I love the look of this one for Mazda, not so much for the new Escape. the AA button sounds like a major pain.....
  12. Agreed! And on a crazier note, my Equinox is again trapped in the garage... #damgaragedoor
  13. Considering I've been in both Alfa Products ( Co workers), I might add my 2 cents here. I liked their their looks, but didn't look much past that. Driving them- MUCH different story! Let's just say they are fun to drive! They may not be pure Dodge power, but they handle quite well. And the interior are something I could look at every day..... Stelvio was a surprise....wasn't quite as fun to get back into the Equinox... They have a market, it just needs to grow a bit. Never thought I'd come to Alfa's rescue....
  14. Not bad heading toward the end of the year.......
  15. Well, I like it better than the Trax.....
  16. Only if car sales were not on a death spiral.... That said- anyone ready for LE JEEP?
  17. GM might have wished they stock piled more cash.....
